10/8/24 5:51PM This lesson has truly opened my eyes to the different levels of giving that I wasn’t aware of. I am currently a percentage giver but by prayer and faith I will strive to reach the next two levels of giving.

10/8/24 @ 5PM The service was very inspirational and it was also confirmation that I am definitely where God has called me to be as my vision aligns with the church’s vision. I am looking forward to being a part of a small group as well as a specialized ministry. I no longer want to just be a member, I want to serve as well.

I was present for this service also! It was very eye opening for me when it comes to giving. I have often struggled in this area, but I'm reminding that everything belongs to God and all that I have is because of him.

I was actually in attendance for this service. My take away was in order for God to move on behalf of the church, the people of the church to be on one accord. I understand that we all have a part to play, but still very important for us to wok together.

btw Pastor Williams, Loved your sermon this past Sunday @ New Direction!! I was at the 9:30 service, but had to tune in to the online service to watch the 11:30 service as well. AWESOME!! I am so thankful that God put you in New Direction's vision. Thank you, Lord!

Carole Gilmore's Response. The sermon helped me understand how to be a generous person. Proverbs gives a wealth of wisdom on how to to be skillful in life. It helps us to be wise and generous. God blesses generosity. There are three levels of giving which I found to be new for me. God loves a cheerful giver. Whatever level we are on we should give cheerfully. If we give without a cheerful heart, we may as well not give. We should also be constant givers. If we sow sparingly, we will reap sparingly. It is God who gives us the ability to support the church. Everything we have comes from Him. We have to trust God to provide and be charitable.

Carole Gilmore's response. This is what I received from the Word. The Vision is to build the church after God's own heart. We have to be a unified church and be the church Jesus prayed for. Without vision, people perish. The Pastor is the head of the church who gets the vision. The church is modeled after the Acts 2 church. We should all be on One Accord just as they were then. We should have a heart of giving. We want to be a healthy church and to grow and help others. We want to be a tithing church and always be on one accord.

God did not make seedless fruit. 🍉

This sermon was a reminder to me that EVERYTHING belongs to God. (We only have "whatever" we have because of God.) We have to manage the finances HE gives us. We are to give a portion of our money cheerfully and consistently to the Church so the Church can do God's Ministry. After giving, we need to trust God will provide all our needs! I know from my experiences in giving, that HE gives me more!!

The message I received from this lesson: Vision of One Accord is - this Church is Bible-Based, based on Acts 2. This Church places high emphasis on being ONE, operating in unity, which produces One Accord! The lesson also gave clear directions on doing it "God's Way".

This is a very informative service. I wasn't aware of the three levels of giving, or the principles behind them. I believe that you should give what you can, while still being able to maintain your most basic needs. Some people manage their money wisely, and live below their means, but still don't have much left after regular living expenses (especially in today's economy). No one needs to be having their lights turned off. With that being said, I now realize that I wasn't where I could be in my financial offerings. My cup doesn't runneth over with money by any means; however I can spare more than I was. My goal is to be able to move up in levels, though it may take some time.
