wasn't't a fan of the Detroit pizza place, we got pizza's there a year or so ago and found it very rich and sickly, plus the pizza edges were very sharp and cut up your mouth trying to eat them, also found you ended up with it all over your face and it was very greasy too. everyone to their own if you like richer food

24 years ago when i worked at Tim Horton's the donuts were a hell of a lot better they where deep fried every night morning and afternoon

unfortunately, the quality of Tim Hortons dive bombed when his daughter sold the company around the year 2000. Almost overnight, it went from fresh baked daily to frozen cookie-cutter donuts. they also nixed some of the best ones (dutchie, walnut crunch, cherry stick ect). so much of Tim's fame is fumes based off of when they were legitimately great.

As a Canadian I feel that a lot of people over-hype Tim Hortons. Not that there's anything wrong with the them, but you have to understand WHY they are so popular. Tim's has been around since 1964, many locations are 24-7, and they have fresh coffee and donuts at all hours. Tim's is absolutely amazing... compared to the alternative. For people who have a 1-hour commute at 6AM or who work unusual hours, a fresh coffee and a donut is far better than a McEgg McCoffee or whatever else is open.

Toasted coconut has always been their best. Basically the chocolate glazed donut with sugary toasted coconut all over. Fantastic. I like the Cruller too. Never liked apple fritters.

Only the classics were actual timmies donuts. That igloo thing looks like an abomination. Hey, i know lets throw everything on a donut for no reason at all. What should we call it?. I dont know, something rhat sounds Canadian. Igloo, that will trick the brits. ...

That Boston creme donut looked more like a a chocolate donut filled with their oiled base whipped cream

As a Canadian, I thought that you were coming to CANADA to try Tim Hortons. YOU CAN'T try a CANADIAN food company IN ANOTHER COUNTRY - & expect it to be THE SAME as what we get in Canada! I started to watch this video & as soon as I saw you were trying Tim Hortons FOR THE FIRST TIME - IN AMERICA - I had to end my watch on your video. I hope that you enjoyed your experience at that Tim Hortons - but it can't be considered the legitimate thing. Enjoy your stay in the United States & hopefully one day you will visit us in Canada, where you will try the REAL Tim Hortons experience (& see how it compares - MAYBE it does) & all of our other places to eat, see & experience in Canada. Take care.

Tims taste/recipe does seem to vary by country from what I have found. At least Canada vs USA, quality and selection has changed over the years from the classic that everyone loved. It may have been your camera but it looked like the chocolate fondant on the donuts was a lot darker than it us here in Canada. So that may have played in the taste factor as well.

The Margherita is the best in the UK. I think you got the wrong pizza- the pepperoni isn't anything too special. Been there about 10 times now and it's definitely the best in this style that's for sure.

Maybe they had an off day, seemed a bit soggier than when I was there 3 weeks ago. I had the cheese pie as they call it and for me best pizza I have had in the UK. Right combination of sauce and cheese and a nice crisp base which didn't flop. Ate mine at the pub, so out of the oven and on the plate.

if you want to know, the Mechoui has absolutly 0 spices in it, whole lambs slow cooked on the traped heat under earth not even fire, they heat up the oven put like 30ish whole lambs in it and seal it up, so no more oxygen aka no more fire, just the heat traped in does the trick. and they give you a mixture of salt and cumin to dip you Mechoui in if you want, so it's not really a spice mix. edit : that restaurant you were in, is the restaurant of the cook of the previous king, he even cooked for Queen elizabeth when she visited Morocco
