The frequency of washing hair depends on person to person. If someone is suffering from dandruffs they should definitely wash their hair every other day untill the problem is solved. Otherwise washing your hair twice or three times or a week is recommended by trichologists. Its not healthy to leave oils and dirts all gathered up on your scalp for longer period of time.

you shouldnt leave hair oil overnight! look it up, it can cause hair loss especially if you have fine hair
