I'm Ken Tanaka, a licensed guide offering tours in English around the Tokyo area. I'll be introducing some of the spots in town and around the country, as well as shots from the sports scene such as baseball and sumo. Monthly updates on travel restrictions to Japan will be uploaded around the 25th (+/- a few days), so stay tuned to receive the latest information!

There are many summer festivals in the Tohoku region at the beginning of August. I had the chance to visit the Nebuta Festival, held in Aomori city from the 2nd to the 7th. For 2024: The event will be held on April 15th (Monday). This is an exhibition; the matches mean nothing and lack the usual intensity.
