Top 3 Early Summer Baits of 2024 for Ultimate River Fishing
hell yeah dude.
Thanks for sharing brotha. Me and my son are fisherman out here in southeast Michigan. Love all your content. Looking forward to starting my jdm tackle journey this year and trying some bfs for the first time. Can these lucky bags be ordered through there site ?
@@MADMAXOGBJJ yes they can. They might not have them any more as they are a Christmas item, but if they are definitely scoop one up. You’ll get your bang for you buck. There’s a video I posted prior about how to navigate their shop so it’ll be easy for both of you :) also do you fish the Dundee dam ever?
@roandpixels1274 Ok gotcha bro, I appreciate the info. I’ll take a look at your other video and try to navigate and see what they have. No i have never fished there. I seen your video awhile back where you were fishing there in Dundee. I didn’t know the exact spot you were in. I tried to look it up but couldn’t find it. We do a lot of pond fishing and hit up some lakes around and bank fish. Mostly largemouth and smallie’s when we can find them. I’m in Wayne about ten minutes from Metro Airport.
@ bro pond hopping is how I got started, but smallies on the river caught me haha. Yeah it was the Dundee dam. That’s awesome though. If you guys don’t find what you want or need help with anything just let me know. Always down to help. Thank you for watching!
Can't wait to see it😊
dam son!
@@HBeretta right haha they held nothing back
Wow very nice 😊
@@user-wo7rp6bc6t thank you 😊
Good work on the video, man. Just subscribed to your channel for future videos and content. Keep up the good work and tight lines
@@bloodlinefishingadventuresllc thank you. Any suggestions on videos you’d want to see??? Always down for suggestions or criticism
oh you got some micros?
@@HBeretta finally haha. Took 3 drops
@@roandpixels1274 🤣
Got a few of those and I caught many on it😊
@@user-wo7rp6bc6t that’s great to know 😍
i've had same experience in winter with fluro. when its really cold, snow on the ground or some iced over water fluro tends to snap unexpectedly. i've used cheap kastking, p-line, seagar and FC sniper same results.
@@19DESERTFOX91 bro JDM Sanyo line is what you need. I’ll make a review about it to explain its properties. It has never snapped on me in winter ❄️ so stoked I have a stockpile
I would appreciate links to your tackle in your video descriptions
@@spotlightinspect5540 are you talking about older videos? On the most recent ones I have links to both tackle shops I use from Japan.
How does the wild beat 50 compares to the era or max glide bait? Debating on picking one up but I wanna make sure if the action is good, and he making the 55 size so I’m debating for the new model.
@@Zz-id5qp great question. So I have experience with the original era baits, but not the new iteration. From the original standpoint to the wild beat 50 I would pick the 50. I made a video a while back on the era and unless he improved the paint job it barely lasted 3 smallish before it started losing paint quick. The wild beat paint quality is just unmatched so far. The movement is also there with the right setup and line. So if I had to pick one I would get the 50. Once the season starts up again I’ll do a side by side. Again though I don’t have his newest era iteration
@@roandpixels1274all good I actually have the original bone one just a month before he released his new model. If that the case I’ll get one, but how much is shipping? I’ll probably save up cause I have a feeling the oversea price might be high.
@ actually shipping isn’t the worse part haha, but I might be a little desensitized to it. I paid $75 total for two baits shipping included. Which when you break it down to handmade and custom, to me isn’t horrible.
oh good lord that baby davinci is dope AF!
@@HBeretta I was surprised they made this
Just found your channel! Thanks for the info.
@@Jpeace530 thank you! Any suggestions are always welcomed if you want to see anything in particular
I would love try out the last one you showed. The micro circuit style blade. Jigging out here in ND ice fishing. I think it would do good.
@@cuchirana4378 it would slay in ND haha
Is it salt water safe?
Yes it is Saltwater safe. Great question
@roandpixels1274 I've always wanted a shimano bfs but always end up with daiwa. I may bite the bullet.Just getting some sheckles together for the Daiwa Infeet bait cast rod.
@ I 100% agree with you. This was the 2nd shimano baitcaster I bought. The first was the newest Aldebaren. I wasn’t a fan, but this reel is amazing. I do love the simple Magnetic braking system for Daiwa systems. My all time fav BFS reel would be Daiwa Silver Creek
I'm guessing hooksize 10 ?
@@Boris29311 that’s exactly right. Size 10
Does it snag less with the double hook up front? I tend to switch my lipless to single hooks but always open to new ideas.
@@gman69455 personally with me running some vibration baits with trebles and this one with doubles, I would say way less. The double tucks underneath nicely when it’s falling down and pops out and I twitch it up. With the trebles I’ve just found they pick up more debris and snags on grass. I still keep the trebles on the back though.
That combo looks sick man
@@OmariSmith-g7p thank you. It’s been doing great so far this late fall season
What kind of net is that and where can I get one ?
@@ironlam I made a video prior to this one I think it’s just below it about the shop I use. It’ll show you the steps to take. I got the net from Japan 🇯🇵 so it’s straight from the source :)
I have a question. What is bfs reel and rod
@@Mall_santa_vr great questions it’s a style of fishing. Finesse style. It stands for Bait Finesse System. It’s using a like casting rod. A reel capable of handling lighter line and smaller lures.
@@roandpixels1274 👍
Hell yea bro keep on influencing sick vid
Thanks for the info. Whats the price on those 7g
@@nenadnedovic9246 stateside they run about $15 a piece. From Japan though I’d say you probably $8-10
great vid man...a ton of great tackle shops in japan that many don't know about or don't stumble upon like Kitiya mentioned herein. glad you threw up this vid because i didn't know about them and i rely on several shops in japan for my tackle needs; the more the better.
Haha that’s how you snag those exclusive bait shop colors they drop sometimes too. Plus not all shops carry all brands so I definitely agree with you
Nice video buddy, thanks for the zooming in of the lures nice touch.
@@dannyb78 hey I’ll take any feedback. It’s always appreciated.
Do you guys handle direct shipping for the Japanese lures? 😅 I get nervous with ordering but a friend of mine said that you guys ALWAYS come through on your services & is happy with their order !!
Buyee Japan handles the shipping. They’ve always answered any question within 24hrs. So I would say yes they handle things very well
it's hard to find the pierce double hooks in a size 10
@@spotlightinspect5540 yeah I had to special order from Japan
i'd go as far as saying the TNs are the best lipless cranks...much love to luckycraft, but damn the jackall TN60 disk knockers, especially in SG Threadfin will nuke a spot.
@@HBeretta I’ll have to try the 60 size. I think I only went as far as 50
Looking for those hooks
@@spotlightinspect5540 Carolina fishing tackle or Japan import tackle might have them
Best blue gill set up I have ever seen

@@dannyb78 great point. I’ll make sure to do an above shot/table top review so you can see the baits better. Great feedback. Thank you
what reel is in the thumbnail, also great vid very informative
@@adhamkhattab3546 it’s not a real reel lol I had to get creative with my DIY thumbnail and I am a very poor drawer as evidence by haha. It was suppose to be a calcutta conquest BFS but I failed 😂😂

What steez model is that?
@@colorado_koolaid2625 that’s actually the Shimano Exensence 2 DC model. It’s a super great reel
@@roandpixels1274 oh I was talking about the rod. I thought I saw it say steez
@@colorado_koolaid2625 oh my bad yes it’s DAIWA 21 STEEZ C66MH - MACHINE GUNCAST TYPE-II
@@roandpixels1274 is this the most sensitive rod you have used? Looking for a really sensitive jig rod
@@colorado_koolaid2625 honestly the most sensitive rods I’ve used to date have been the Jackall Revoltage. Especially the MH for jigging. I could feel everything. But the line and lure matter too. I usually had my jigging setup paired with a flouro JDM line and a tungsten jig which my go to were the ISSEI or Bottom up jigs. Also for the price point revoltage saves you some money
i'll take the conquest thanks!
I love the Coike packaging. A little bulky but I hate bent, twisted plastics with a passion.
@@redtobertshateshandles you’re right they definitely do take care of their plastics. It’s a little touch but it goes a long way. Jackall does that as well I feel like
i love my sleek mikey 115...i have the exact same color. i replaced the feather with a #2 indiana blade with #2 swivel. again, love the bait but not terribly great at casting with some wind.
@@HBeretta haven’t thought about the Indiana blade. I should try that. The feather does pretty well, but maybe the extra flash would help. Yeah I’m still not understanding how to cast swim bats very well even the small ones but it’s a learning curve for sure.
Він гучний?
We have had Issei here in Korea for a long time, I'm not impressed by the caramel shad, jackal rhythmwave is better for me. And Keitech. And through the years of fishing here in Asia I really believe that America makes better jigs than the Japanese.
A lot of information there. I appreciate your insight. What jigsaw do you like to use that are American? Jackal is one of my top brands to use haha the rhythm wave is a good one. You make some good points
I have had only live worms and minnows artificial never worked for me.
How do you rig it usually? Especially the live minnows. I’ve tried them before but I think I didn’t rig them properly
