This show defenetly disappoint me.Like any other. Because they present one disability person and then left behind it.Then present other similar disabled person and gave her all the glory even praising her into the sky. After that first hero(Teo) appear for a few moments and literally just one episode exept first one(the introducing episode) and then gone.Absolutely and no body cares about him, I know he's not the totle, main character, not the avatar, can't and don't know air bending ,can't walk, need help, can't be evrywhere etc, etc,, But are this this are reasons to just stop think about him? Is he really so weak to not shoe him for almost there seasons? Is really that bad charater?! So it that means actually people who had injured legs or can't walk because if other ilnesses doesn't matter? We don't deserve for fair shake ?! Really? So why the creators put him before Toph? Why the making Teo so cool and GOOD GUY? He shoun't be cut off from the group! He 's important too! This is really cruel!. Suffice it to look at season 3 where Soka and other really apperciate Toph.Soka even told it !Few times! They hugs together! Talk about themselfs as team ,family! Go togrther to the theatre! But hello what's wrong with you guys someone is missing! Anybody don't feel it miss him?! Anybody even say that! Even Toph! I know the Zuko was more important and Ang was the most but it doesn't mean that they can just leave him alone!!! Are he really less value for you guys?!!! And yes we see him finally at the end .For a minute! And it desn't even explain what happen to him earlier!Or at least where was his father! ...Anyways now I became depressed again,I want cry all day, feel broken and say ony one word:JUSTICE !!! Thank you avatar series creators!. I will never like you again! You are just band of fakers and propagandists!!!😡🤬😠💔👎👎👎👎👊BOOOO!!!
Thanks for not forget about Teo too. It means a lot for me. For me They are only characters who makes sense. Teo is just like me but Toph have situation of presioning in house, living alone and toxic parents. I have a sister but she... She has to go away. So I am alone. But prefer Teo because I have same bodily situation and ... People pusing me from road too. It really hurts.
Its hard to find true love with disability i been in a wheelchair since a was young and been a victim of love its hard😢😢
Same dude same I haven’t seen I don’t like looking at myself walk I also took up jump rope my problem in I can only dude like 4 reps max haha so just do like 30 sets 4
a little note: dedling with bullies mean you're dealing with ableism not your disability.
I've got CP too. Dancing is always fun, but it can be super hard. For me, it's hard to do hand/arm choreo and lower body choreo simultaneously.
Amigo, eres una inspiración para muchos, te admiro
Fantastic video, your perspective on everything was very enlightening to listen to, loved all the memes too lol
Your a legend keep going doing it never give up
People stare at me so much that I pretty much just don’t go outside lol
Have you ever seen his rainbow bagel quest? Him trying to get around New York to find the bagel is funny but also eye opening
I do love to dance but I'm really bad with particular foot movementnt I have to watch carefully. I have spastic diplegia CP
I have special needs and I was premature and I had a mild hearing loss when I was a baby and I had kind of surgeries when I was little sometimes I like going to school but other times I don't and I just want to be lazy and relax for once sometimes I get nervous when it comes to project or talking in front of people and it gets me kind of upset and scared.
I have special and I have a mild hearing loss and I did have heart surgery when I was younger and I'm doing online school which I'm very very excited about I'm 17 years old and I love avatar Last Airbender still and I also like Beyblade G Revolution the very good show toph is a very cool character I definitely like her personality she's very funny and easy that's the one thing I liked about characters they are fun and lovable.
I have also CP (spastic hemiplegic (maybe ataxic?) And honestly that's why I do talking videos. Instead of dances just difficult. Also I'm dealing with other coexisting medical issues. That make it even harder.
Well done you 2. Miss everyone.
I have cp I box as well,I practiced skipping rope, for years and like you just didn't do even when I started boxing,I just shadow jumped, with lots of practice, and help from my physiotherapist,I can do a sort of alternating jog step, keep trying,it is very difficult for us I know 👍
I need to get back to practicing. My whole body was sore the next day so I know it gave my cp brain a run for it's money haha
This is completely amazing, and I can't wait to hear more!
Thank you Karla! Glad you liked it :)
I have mild case of CP as well
Yes! I think you did great! Dance if you want to Miguel! You've progressed so much since back in high school with movement!
I feel!! One reason I haven’t made a Tik Tok 🙃 I can do other things though!!
I took a kickboxing class one time!! It was interesting! 🤣🤣
Some friends have tried kickboxing too and have recommended it. I'll add it to my list haha
Thank you Miguel and Zach, both! Awesome video! You guys are great! It's so awesome that you are able to reach out to others and share as you do! That wasn't really a thing in "my day"! I'm a 64 year old guy with CP, and love how you both are able to be a positive influence for others! Keep up the fantastic work!
Saludos desde Idaho :)
Echele ganas compita. :)
Woohoo!! Perseverance is the key! I remember taking a while to learn how to jump rope.
Way to go Miguel!
Dude you fucking did it! 😲
I haven’t seen this but that trailer hit me in the feels 😭. Thanks for the insight because it really helps me understand the different worlds we live in and the things I take for granted. Even with you being my friend, I don’t fully grasp the challenges that people with disabilities face and your videos help me understand and respect the disability community soooooo much more ❤️
I'm really glad you liked it man, thank you! This has been one of the tougher videos to post, but I felt it was time to address it.
Have you ever thought of how the feeling of helpless or not being able to do something correlates with fearing the fact of asking for help. For example, there are times where I feel like I can’t do something or don’t want to do something just because I want to be able to do it on my own and don’t really want to ask for help. Maybe some to think about for a future a video 🤷♀️
Good point tocaya, thank you! I think you're right, I'll have to do a little research
What a cool experience.
Hermoso video
Buen video.
Gracias
No hay por donde
Fue un gusto
That's my bestie!!! <3
Miguel you do such an amazing job
Thank you Karla! :)
I love this!! You have achieved so many challenges Migui & know that you’re an admirable person to me :)
Thank you Mighely! I'm so glad I met you tocaya, you're one of the sweetest and hard working people I know
Great insights Evelyn! The most that I like from what you've said is: Disability is not an excuse... Also: we can still be useful... Or: Only YOU can limit yourself...WOW With this approach and mentality, you will always be "on top of your problems "..."on top of your condition "..."In the driver seat of your life" ,as I like to call it! I also live with a condition (ankylosing spondylitis ) from the age 11 and my body has suffered allot...then I've decided to stop crying for myself, understand, accept and also do something for myself... Now I'm 44 but I feel greater then ever. I work as a carer,I enjoy life with my family. WELL DONE MIGUEL
Glad you enjoyed it! Evelyn did a great job and made some great points
Great video 👍🏽
Thanks man!
Great start to the series, Miguel! As for me, I accepted the fact that I was handicapped at the age of 5. It made me feel special and oddly excited me because I was always told there were things I couldn't do, so course I just had to try those things. The people in my life were less accepting of my abilities and focused on my disability issues. I was angry during adolescence, but all kids are whether they are able bodied or not. I got picked on and bullied and my feelings were hurt...but no more than anyone else in my classes. I've always stood up for myself and got in fights oftentimes in defense of others who were too scared to stand up for themselves against the harsh reality of mean people. I've been known to be a bit mean myself, projecting my anger and frustration of the challenges that nobody else would comprehend or understand. I am a rebel at heart and will stop at nothing to prove my ability to do that which I've been told I couldn't do. I actually got married once, it didn't work out. I had a kid and now 2 grandkids. There is no happily ever after, unless you work at it,..be it with yourself and your body or with the relationships you have with others. Eleanor Roosevelt said, Nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent. It's very true. My Daddy has always told me, if it makes you happy then get it! So go get it, my friend. Life is long, CP is here to stay...so you might as well put a ring on it, compromise when necessary and enjoy the never ending adventure of it. Peace little brother.
Thank you for sharing a bit of your story!! It's crazy to think how many twists and turns life has but CP still remains. I love your second-to-last sentence and couldn't agree more! 👏💪
Silence would probably be the toughest challenge for me haha I’m always one of the firsts to get out when playing the silence game
I remember that game. I sucked at it too, I always started laughing hahaha
thanks for this amazing uplifting vedio helps i also have mild cerebral palsy not sure what effects i know talking hard n i do belive also my mood swings n hard let the past go and trying to move on when people doesnt understand how i try to move on its really hard make upset trying to expend it why how i acted around this people
I'm glad you liked it! It can be hard to have people understand, don't let that discourage you though
Time to brush up on your Spanish! This video is a continuation of my very first video on this channel ua-cam.com/video/2nH1A_PgmG0/v-deo.html
People always stare at me, sometimes it's a bad stare like they have never seen anyone like me before. Just today i was at dunkin donuts sitting at the table filling out some paper work and i noticed someone staring at me from the front of the line. It made me uncomfortable because he was sticking his neck out to get a look. I ignored it and continue on what i was doing and all of a sudden him and the person he was with (looked like a girlfriend) sat right across from me. I looked up again just to make sure i wasn't being stared at but he was directly facing me with a surprised look on his face. I hate it, but what you said is so relatable. Thank you for this video 💖
That does sound like an extremely awkward situation. From the sounds of it, it sounds like you kept your composure really well! Props for that!! It's always hard when we have to pretend it's doesn't bother us and continue with our business
ha, I need a shower.
I have the same CP. Mild to the point where I don't need assistance on everyday stuff, but to where I need to use a cane on long walks and can't run or play sports. Thanks for sharing your story!
My pleasure, it's definitely hard to get use to the duality but we have to work with what we have, right? haha
