I still think this is one of the coolest interpretations of the Mana Goddess not just from the series, but like, out of a lotta fiction. She said it at the beginning "I am love. Find me, and walk beside me." She wanted to be found... And then to state how the light side of her wasn't the only side, but she wanted this half to be seen too, for someone to accept ALL of her, both the good AND the bad. Every other game, you are trying to help or save the mana tree somehow, but this is the one time where she basically needs to vent her own feelings out somewhere. The needs of longing, the aggression from the wars, the desire for humanity to acknowledge her again and to depend on her despite how much it took from her last time... It was pretty crazy. Still really wish the HD version remade the damn sprites though.
