You are inspired by Hitchcock's films to make such masterpiece, and I am inspired by your music to make a Cthulhu story: The last descendant of a declining ancient noble family returned to the woods once belonged to his ancestors for their fallen treasures. At such a night, thick and dense, he could hardly follow the ancient paths with the dim torch, but he somehow noticed altering shadows whispering his name behind the looming mist. With the inexplicable curiosity he then turned to see what happened, but could only find branches waving in the breeze. Maybe he got poor nerve, but why? the fear of darkness? or the excitement of treasures? He didn't know. What he knew was that he couldn't find the paths he followed, and he lost in the dark woods. Barely restraining the impulse of screaming, he wiped the sweat on the face, and stumbled around to grope his way. He heard more whispering of his name, saw more shadows waving at him. He told himself it was just illusion. However, was it? Was it the voice of meemaw? who adored him the most, but has passed away long ago? Meemaw started to sing the lullaby again, which he enjoyed the warmest dreams with. And father, the ambitious father, the alcoholic father. Father never abandoned any little hope of reviving his family, but kept failed until his mysterious missing. Now he was announcing his great dream again in drunkenness. Where...am..I? Why...am...I...going...this...way? He tried to ask himself, but the answers were not important, just like the questions. his mind might be in chaos, but his body was definitely clear. That way! Suddenly he got tripped over a tree root, the torch went out with a wisp of smoke, and the sky pushed aside the branches and showed him the most strange and beautiful sense: blood moon. It gazed at him. He felt unprecedentedly peaceful and warm. He was not alone, meemaw, father, and all the other ancestors were with him. He had found the the fallen treasures, which were the beautiful woods itself under the illumination of blood moon, embracing the ancient family. With smile, he closed his eyes and swore to dedicated all himself to serve and guard the glory of the treasures, like his ancestors.
