My Christmas song, I record a new version every year. This one is more Orchestral and features Violins, Cellos, Contra bass, Flutes and horns.

Video number 3 of our visit to this fabulous hotel in Costa Adeje - Tenerife. This one covers the areas of the hotel. I was still getting used to the new camera, so some of the camera work leaves a lot to be desired.:-) All background music are compositions created by myself and co-writer Joe Davies. Back in 1989, played in a band called 3 Mile Island in Liverpool. There has since been a few bands with the same name, but we were the first. This is a video that was made using crash editing on an old VHS editing suite. Old technology. Had a go at revamping it using free video editing software. I recommend Davinci Resolve. Wrote this song 9 years ago after my cousin passed away at a fairly young age. Far to young for a man of his caliber. Re recorded the song as a piano ballad. I like to revisit this song on the anniversary of his passing. Some additions and removals of song parts and instruments. Mainly drums and much bigger choir.

An old song that was going nowhere. Mike Enjo from Creative sauce put up a challenge to record a song using the free " Micahs Choir " from LABS. Challenge accepted and this is the result. :-)

Відпочивали з дружиною тут в вересні 2024 року. Супер. Нарікань нема ні на що. Просто прекрасно. Наступного року знов приїдемо до Коста Адехе. Але в іншиї готель. Тому що є ще багато хороших локацій. А цей раджу, тим хто тут ще не бував.
Ще місяць тому ми були там..😪 Гарний отель. Сервіс супер. Залишились найкращі враження а тепер уже і спогади.
Дуже гарний отель. Відпочивали там з 15 по 29 вересня 2024р. Сподобалось все. Сервіс. Ввічливий персонал. Затишний ,що важливо.В ресторані різноманітний ассортимент їжі. Смачно. Басейн чистюсенький, рушники міняли постійно. Дуже задоволені.
Ще три тижні тому ми там відпочивали..❤

Hello Purple Girl, Thank you for showing and interest in my song and your kind comments. The song is about a work colleague who I worked with may years ago. She was such a strong and resolute character. She lost both parents at an early age, but always remained forthright and strong. She loved the colour purple and wore Purple Doc Martens, purple nail varnish, purple makeup and purple in her hair. This was written as a tribute to the fine person she has become. Thanks again :-) x

Hello Oliver, long time no see! Hope you are well. Thanks for the comments. Wrote this song for my cousin as a tribute when he passed away 7 years ago. Today would have been his 50th birthday so decided to re visit the song and do it as a piano style ballad. :-)

what a beautiful song Gary ,the loss of someone special to us is never forgotten ,they may no longer be with us in body but their spirit lives on in our thoughts and compassion we show to ourselves and others , it never gets easier my friend ,i know this from the loss of my mother but rest assured the love we have for that person will never fade therefore the love they have given will never die and they will remain with us forevermore

Hello Paul, long time no speak. The Band was called 3 Mile Island. I was in the band with Clive Gregson, he played the Bass. I have been trying to trace Clive, but I found out last month that he took his own life back in January of this year. Devastated to say the least.
What was the name of that band you had ?

Too bad the camera is on the floor because you have a great voice for this song and your guitar is burying it. A higher angle would let your voice shine. Great cover!
