Cheers! Glad that more people are enjoying Sonic Animation. Actually, I realised that this track also has an official video, so this one did actually exist on UA-cam already. I updated the description with a link to that video.

I'm actually planning on doing an update to slot in the series 18 contestants... in the off chance I ever work up the motivation to do so :P Without thinking about it too hard, I'd say it definitely wasn't my favourite series, but not my least favourite either. All the contestants would get either 3 or 4 points from me, with Rosie, Jack and Andy on 4 and Babatunde and Emma on 3. Rosie and Jack made for a great team with their massively contrasting personalities, and Andy has a style of humour that particularly suits me. Babatunde and Emma were fine, but honestly not that memorable in the end.

@@thegaminghermitage5045 yeah fair, I particularly thought the studio banter was a step up from other recent series.

Heh, I just really hate those videos where someone has tried to pass off something as protected under fair use for educational purposes or something... no, that entire series of a British sitcom from the 90s that you uploaded is not protected under fair use... I'll still watch it, though :P

I've never seen much of him on GBBO, just snippets. Mostly I know him from The Mighty Boosh (which was okay, but definitely not amongst my favourite British comedies), The IT Crowd (thought he was great in that) and appearances on Big Fat Quiz of the Year (didn't really like him on that, but at least he was a thousand times more tolerable than Russell Brand).

Cheers! The thing about Daisy May Cooper, and I alluded to it in the video, is that she has one particular trait that I find particularly cringe-inducing: overcompensating for her insecurities. I think I find it so awkward because I am an insecure person myself, but my strategy for dealing with it is by really leaning into it and being self-deprecating. And I'm sure plenty of people find me cringe-inducing because of that, too :P And as for Dara, he really is one of my favourite comedians, if I was making this tier list purely for how much I like their overall body of work, he'd be S tier for sure.

I’d argue that “how memorable the contestants were, a bit on how they did, [and] were they entertaining” are all just different ways of saying whether or not you liked them. Personally, I think Bob Mortimer killed on his series (and in the Champion of Champions), but that’s because I like his humor. It’s all subjective.

@@andyb3430 I'm sorry but what I'm reading is "Hate tier list where people don't fully agree/align with my opinion". Noel Fielding is one of the very few contestant that I, as a person from a non-English speaking country, was already exposed to and I'm really biased in his favor... but I would have rated him quite low on this particular tier list anyway. You can disagree? Sure. It's subjective, and that's the point.

Heh, yeah, they are both damn amusing... and rather alluring, especially Morgana... if I'd been on the receiving end of that mermaid proposal I most definitely would have married her :P

Ha, yeah, I do get that some people would find Al Murray a bit hard to take for that very reason, but personally I found it more funny than anything.

I have massive respect for the contributions he's made to the show, and yeah, he's clever and I like a lot of his work, but for me he just didn't quite click on the show.

Interesting. Why, out of interest? I could see that someone might consider her to be not one of the more interesting contestants, but I'm surprised you'd consider her the single worst ever.

Yeah, the way TM introduces people to comedians and personalities they might not otherwise have known is a real strength of the show.

Yeah, for sure. It was the perfect blend of chaos, foolishness and gamesmanship, boosted by the fact that everyone seemed to get along and to just be happy to be there.

Heh, I assume you'd put them both higher? I'm sure most people would put Bob near the top tier, and honestly, I do like him, I guess I'm just not quite as charmed by his particular brand of nonsense as most. And Victoria, yeah, like so many other contestants I could very easily have put her higher... I was just rewatching that prize task where everyone gave each other genuinely nice gifts, and she got Alan the most savagely passive-aggressively nasty gift imaginable... that was fantastic :P But yeah, like I think I said in the video, everyone on that list could have gone up a tier or two, I did really like (very nearly) all of them. It just came down to, who do I love slightly more than others?

Interesting! I guess I wouldn't rank 14 as one of my absolute favourites, but I wouldn't have thought of it as one of the worst either. But hey, that's opinions for you. It's all good :) And yeah, that's actually a pretty good idea for another video. I hadn't really intended to do anything more on Taskmaster (or anything on this channel at all really, other than whatever random stuff comes into my mind), but since this video is getting a few views, I might do something more. I make gaming videos on my main channel, and it's good to have an archive of gameplay to look through. I do enjoy chatting with people, but this time no one was watching until my nephew popped in about halfway through, so talking seemed kind of pointless.
