This was horrible! That tank was way too small for them, they should have been given a way bigger tank for the dolphins and sea lions.

This show and Muscle Beach, those two shows were amazing!! Those were the days. San Diego was warm, not to crowded, and much, much more affordable. To the great memories growing up there in the 80s,90s! ♥️🙌

I remember this! No one, and I mean NO ONE! Believed me when I told them I remembered seeing the dolphins at Knott's! Being an adult now, I'm glad that they chose to discontinue this part of the park.(For the animal's well being) However, it's nice to see a wonderful memory from my childhood! Anyone remember the Alligator Farm across the street?

They did not actually tear down the building this was in. They discontinued the water fountain show, but the building is still there and has been used for other shows, such as a Sesame Street one for example. As of 2014 it is being used for the "Madagascar Live" show.

I am really sure the did this at Bay Park Elementary also

This video is terrific! Oh how do I remember this show!!! This was the best show at Sea World back in the late 70's! So simple but yet, magical, nostalgic and missed by thousands of people! Thanks for posting!

This attraction goes back to at least the 1960s. I loved it when I was a kid.

I was 9yrs then. I no longer live in San Diego, and am planning a trip with my wife and child. This was ky favorite show. Wasnhoping to find a clip to show my wife. So pleased to find this footage. Never remove this.

My sister and I loved this show! We still remember the words. It's hard to hear in the video, so starting at 0:17: "The waters... of the world are ONNNNEEEEE! The cycle... of water... goes on.. and... ONNNNNN... seas yield vapor! To the skies! The skies... return it as rain!" *thunder crash*

How cool that you worked this show! I was 6 to 11 year old kid watching these shows. We had passes back then so I saw many shows where everything went right and many more where everything went wrong ha! We loved the Sea Lion and Otter show, I remember when it was the haunted house format, who did you play in that? Or were you around when it turned into the pirate ship theme? I liked the first one better. I probably saw and remember you..

I was 9 and this was my favorite show as well. What a trip to see it again all these years later now that the show is completely dated and the quality of the film makes it look even worse haha! Love that it's up here though...

I dont know if they had this show back in 85 86 when i last went to knotts.

Why they got rid of this show (for the god- AWFUL Spiderman show) is beyond me. Amazing special effects that never got old, great stage combat, incredible audio and a dragon that never failed to take the audience's breath away. Just one more horrible decision on Universal's part right up there with the E.T. Adventure and Back to the Future The Ride. *s i g h* Damn shame.

@red5conan : I guess the theater smelled like cordite since there were so many special effects involving explosives and fire. I really loved seeing Conan. That and Miami Vice.

@red5conan : It would be totally radical if you could find someone to post the entire show on youtube. This was my favorite show at Universal as a kid. I even still remember what the theater smelled like.

this was one of the best shows at seaworld. they replaced it with pets rule which i think is much much less fun. I think it probably costs a lot less to have pets rule. :( thanks for bringing back great memories
