I love this idea. I have air plants but don't like to handle them much because they are so delicate. It's brilliant that they are wrapped in wire so all one has to do is soak them weekly. Now, I have to decide which vessel(s) I want. Tough decision!

I am 64 and i never heard of an air plant. I found out about them in October..... I currently have 3 air plants. I have one than has wider leaves, you said soak them for 6 to 12 hours once a week. I soaked that one for about an hour and when i pulled it out, there was a white milky fluid at one place.... do you have any ideas what that was? I will say i used tap water and i did not know to burn off the chlorine. Love your channel and now love air plants!!

I live in a mostly dry, mediterranean climate, so not only just spraying them was never enough but it actually caused them to rot. After this video, I learned to keep them dry but also well hydrated without any rotting problems. Well done!

Your displays on air plants are so beautiful. I just have the one plant so far and I'm learning just how special these plants are. I never even thought to get one. Now because of your love of them and wonderful information I too have become an admirer. Some day I hope to have more. Perhaps buy from you.

Wanted to create a palladium but getting the plants , etc is expensive also difficult with the heat here so tillandsia interest beginning ... love you video thank you

hello josh. im new and confused . i live in a humid country singapore and ive seen some soaking for 15-30 mins. but you've recommended 6 hours. do you live in a dry climate? thank you josh!

How would distilled water kill them? I use RO water and all my airplants (and different tilandsias, bromeliads orchids ect.) are growing, flowering and growing new pups. I bet they got rainwater falling on them in the wild which is basically distilled water. Where I live the carbonate hardness and general hardnes of tap water is pretty high, I don't think that would fit the needs of airplants better then RO or distilled water.

Really nice but seems to be pretty hard to water it indoor.

Hello! Such an impressive idea! 100% I thought about doing something like this b4 I saw your channel, but couldn't figure out how to keep the plants in! 😅 sweet idea. Im just starting to invent with these, I love it! Whats your reccomendation for a fertilizer? Something I could get off Amazon preferably, as I can't get to a lot of these wonderful shops, im from beautiful Traverse City Michigan.... Have a blessed day! Id so appreciate the help!
