After a lot of rain on Saturday, I decided to take it easy and just do some quick chores with the chickens. Lastly, congratulations to the Chiefs on the win. I really thought the Eagles were going to win it all after their run this year. Looking forward to Big Blue winning it all next year! Go Giants!

Please forgive the lighting. I wanted to show how to clean the incubator after a hatch. Now, if you were using this incubator as soon as you hatched and cleaned to run another round through, I would suggest using a vacuum cleaner with the "blinds" setting done to get a much more thorough cleaning than what I achieved here.

does it have any hole for oxygen ?
It does on the side of the "globe see-through" plastic. It may actually have more than one hole for fresh air to enter the incubator, but at the moment, I only know of the one.
Note: For the Advance model it is not important, but for the EX model make sure the inner plastic has the same position as when it was disassembled. Then the holes for the water tube are allined correctly. In the video the assembled position of the inner part is not the same as when disassembled.

Thanks for the info. I just purchased Brinsea 600. I plugged it in and have been monitoring temps below plate with wireless probe. I adjusted height 1.5in to 2in on opposite sides. Highest temp below brooder is 86F when ambient temp is 70F. I hope this will be warm enough for chicks when they hatch.
It should be. The chicks will absorb the heat per say. It will feel warmer than the 86 that you're reading. Plus, they'll likely huddle up and retain much of their heat too.
How much hatched?
I had 11 of my 12 eggs hatch. I think the one that did not hatch was due to a power loss during a thunderstorm.
@@mslibertyhomestead3827 what settings did you use e.g Turning angle how often you want it to turn?
@@user-bg5ww1qj6t I had mine set at a Turning Angle of 7, and they were set to turn every 45 minutes. Your eggs may be the same or different depending on size and shape. I used the diagram in the manual for egg size to determine. Mine were between the size 6 and 8 in the manual. I just tested to make sure it was correct with one egg. Kind of lazy of me, but it seemed to be spot on.
