CLEAN
Love how the video is 16 seconds long
Thanks, I don't wanna waste nobody's time. So I get straight to the point.
👍
И дальше что?
is it just me or does the first click seem early
Hey thanks for watching. That click is part of the pre-roll metronome that counts me in before I start. For this video I just didn't remove it, that's all. Thanks again for watching and commenting and hope you find some value in this lessons.
Wish the metronome wasn't in the mix,. Groovy though, thanks
what does the dash mean?
Thanks for your question and I should probably do a video on how to read notation. I just added it to my upcoming video list. Let me know if there's any other video requests etc. Thanks!
very help fun thank you, was trying to find a lesson plan as a beginner and i believe this is it
Great to hear!
Very nice
Nice

STRAIGHT FIRE DUDE
Thanks for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it.
Great
Thanks for watching! I appreciate the positive comment too.
This sh!t is fire!
nice
Thank you.
Very short and informative. Which book are you using?
hey i'm stoked if you find this video useful. I wish I had a book to suggest. But if you looking up 6/8 basic patterns you'll probably find the same or very similar stuff. Thanks again!
very helpful thanks!
Glad you find it useful! Thank you!
Ya man!
Thanks!
It`s great pattern for sure and looks tricky to master ,But why open the hats when you can`t hear it?
Yes, it is intermediate pattern. I can hear the hi hats opening, can't you? Remember you don't need to always open the hi hat fully. Sometimes lighter details work better.
I think it's meant to be quite suttle, altough i Personally also open them wider
I would love to see some videos of your hi hat work my friend! and thanks again for watching and commenting.
Very nice
that is insane! Hats off, Sir!
I need this played over “money” right now.
damn thats good!!👍
Thanks!
wow dude, really nice
anda 1 ...
Good playing.
Wait, how is this a shuffle?
Actually your right! Its a Bernard Purdie Style groove but not his shuffle. I upload that in a few days.
@@RichmondDrumLessonsBC ah okay thanks. So I’m not crazy lol
so sweet
Thank you!
I didn't know that was even allowed! Jk no but that's was dope! I never would've thought of doing that! Definitely trying one this out!
Thanks and glad you like it!
I wish my Autistic kids had a drum set to learn how to play
Great view for a drum video!

Get me some mash because we got a banger here!
Thanks! Glad you like it and thanks for the like!
Круто!!!

Sorted😊
thanks and glad you dig it!
Could you do one for Cocoa Butter Kisses by Chance the Rapper?
Thanks for the song recommendation! I will check it out and see what I can do. Thanks again!
Goooodd
Thanks! The 5 and 6 stroke roll are so useful
I love the open sounds of your drums - wonderful tones. Do mind if I inquire about your mic set up and signal chain? Looks like 57 on the snare, a bass drum mic on the outside, and a FET 47 out front capturing everything? You've got to have stereo overheads too I'm assuming. Yes, I'm trying to copy your sound - I love it. Tell me more please!
Hey thanks! Yes that's pretty much exactly the mic setup I have, with a 4 channel SSL Interface too. No stereo overheads yet! Whats you favourite stereo overheads for drums?
@@RichmondDrumLessonsBC Thanks for the info! Man, those SSls have some nice clean pre’s. Everything I’ve heard recently from those interfaces are phenomenal. For O/H’s I’m running Lewitt LCT 140 airs for live (and some recording), they are very solid for the price point. Usually, I always go for my Warm Audio 47 FET as a mono O/H at home. I’ve been looking at going to a set of matched ribbons though. I’ve been stuck between the Stager SR 2Ns or the Royer R-10s. Man, if I had the dough…my Wishlist would start with Mojave (the MA-37 (omg) or the MA 300), AEA N8 (ribbons).
@@jamestaylor-mdh-39 yes ribbons mics are excellent at capturing the whole drumkit. My next upgrade is a 8 channel audio interface so I can close mic everything for more mixing options
@@RichmondDrumLessonsBC Take a look at the SSL Puredrive Quad. You could easily chain that bad boy to your current rig.
That Paiste ride sounds amazing!
Looks like a 22" Signature Traditionals Light Ride
It does!
@@henriqueccruz I have played a lot of ride cymbals and I currently own 4, but the Paiste traditional light ride has this special sound that hard to put into words. Best ride cymbal I have ever played IMO
i just came here to say the same thing
Wow so much new content. 🍻
