Strange route for the Downs Link although I haven't done it since the late 90's. I did it after a hot spell on a baked dry surface. You can really get a good pace up. Do it in the summer and start from Bramley at dawn. Starting really early avoids a lot of the walkers.

On removing my battery. The bolt was seized in so tight it required a heavy duty wrench and a long bar on the end to get it out ! It messed up the threads on the bolt .There was a lot of corrosion on the bolt and in the bolt hole . To me it looked similar to corrosion you see on a battery post in your car blue green color. ? The the worst part is . When cleaning the corrosion out of the center of the bolt I found out the hole goes ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE BOLT !!!. Allowing water dirt and salt to enter into the battery ! No wonder the F*cking thing was sezied.

The signs are for the British Heart Foundation London to Brighton off-road bike ride I did 2 weeks ago. If you followed them you would have got to Brighton but that route takes you through lots of technical ascents and downhills until Cranleigh then takes you back on to the disused railway track.

The nuts arent loose. They are integrated into the charge cable. Still a nighmare to reinstall. Better hope your hand fits in the downtube. Ugh
