Ok. I can't advance. What is the glitch? Is the glitch that you can't advance. I think one of the documents isn't showing up. It is really annoying that all the posts mention it is bugged but people won't say what the bug is. Why won't people say what the actual bug is, like what isn't working correctly. Also has this been fixed all the posts are from like 6 months ago. I would think someone would mention if the bug is fixed or not.

you need to take alice photos and put it in the plaza in wakes story THEN it will change reality and go with saga to the cell and it should be working

Same problem. Reloaded autosave game RIGHT before the conversations with two detectives. Right after she gives you key to cell, go unlock cell and get documents right then and there. Then proceed forward

It was bugged for me. After an hour of trying to weigh my options, I loaded up a quick save and it fixed itself.

God dammit still stuck in the same f-ing spot.. There was a patch today but Remedy did not seem to fix it.. I love the Remedy universe but come on there is no excuse for this..Sigh has this problem happen to anyone else still🤬😩

He’s right you can play coop local first hit the A button then scroll down to gang melee ect then player 2 can hit the a button to join

Same stuck.. Tried the manual reload nothing… Great psychological game but the bug is so frustrating

I had this bug and did the following. Go to police station basement and make manual save. Then go to the prison cell and inspect all documents. Make sure you collect the document that is needed - careful, the collect icon is easy missed. Once you do that, you do the case board clues and Tor profiling and the game progresses.

I'm in this spot of the game right now and applied the patch. Still stuck....

For these bugs, try enabling the HUD in the interface settings, it fixes it for now.

I completed the case “Wake and the clicker” and I still don’t get any dialogue from the FBC woman

I'm playing on PS5 and I've also been stuck on this part for several days, and what discourages me most is this last patch that the news said would fix 200 errors, so I went to play and this disgusting bug continues, I'm already discouraged with the game , which is very good, and now because of this shitty bug I can't finish the game, it's very disrespectful.

Go to the basement. Manual save. It worked for me. I was stuck for a while n also played Alan’s part up to chapter 7

Had the old gods bug waited 4 days for patch 10.010 now this bug appears . Game is a total mess . We are the beta testers

Count me among the people who are stuck and were hoping that the patch that claimed to fix it would actually do what it says. Last save is 3 hours before this.

Such a shame that the latest patch didn't fix this. I don't want to watch the end on UA-cam 😔

TO FIX THE PROBLEM : load the game and write this on UA-cam " Alan Wake 2 Come Up With A New Plan - Return 6 Scratch Walkthrough " you can watch it all just go back to the prison and when you click the pages find the 🔎 and click on it , thank me later .

Hmm, I was able to solve this with no patches. I did do the "save manual save then reload it" trick. not sure if that helped, but I ended up just walking around the sheriff's office more, found the 1 brother, spoke with him, went to the basement, saved, reload. came back up, spoke with the brother again, more dialog, then I found more dialog with Case and the agent, spoke with them, left, did a bunch of case board stuff, profiling, then left and came back and talked with them some MORE, did MORE case board stuff that appeared, and eventually got the Tor quest to speak with him in my Mind and form a plan to talk to the FBC Agent and Case about. I THINK. *DO NOT FOLLOW THIS ADVICE!* I mean, not step-by-step; I have no idea in what order I did things or what I did, the point of this post is that I was able to walk around, exit, come back, save, reload, and examine my Mind Space multiple times, repeatedly because the game was NOT prompting me to do so at any time, and magically I had more stuff to do even though the game didn't tell me. So.. yep. hth :)

Add me to the list of being stuck at this part. I thought it was something wrong I was doing initially. I ain't doing that crap of going back 30+ minutes in the gameplay just to get it to work. They need to get it together and get this fixed.

Fixed. Reload your older safe file (before Scratch fight) and from this point DONT OPEN MIND PLACE - no profiling, no evidence on the board. After the boss fight exhaust conversation with Casey and Estevez. Go to the cells and pick up all 3 files. Make sure you got all 3 files from the cell blocks and exhaust all dialogues. Now enter the mind place a place all evidence stuff you got on the board. Now switch to profiling and profile Scratch, Wake and Tor (Trusting Wake). Go talk to Estevez and exhaust her dialogue. Now you should have opened final profiling on Tor named Rescuing Wake. After that you can add final piece to board and new conversation will pop up with Estevez named: "I've got a plan." This worked for me. Again - This will only work if you dont open mind place, dont put anything on thr board and dont profile anyone before you got all 3 files from cell.

Why you don't solve the cases which are yellow?

Try to load a bit back, and before profiling Tor, collect the note on the PC in the hall and add to the board. This just helped on one stream.
