Hi Trisha...me and my family are going yo this resort in a week and a half. I didn't upgrade to diamond club when I booked the trip 6 months ago, and I'm wondering if you know if I can upgrade at the actual resort upon arrival?. And if so, what's the cost person? Any info would help, thanks!

Just make it easy on yourself people look elswhere than this resort! This place is rundown big time!!!

Thank you for the feedback, if you return, you may want to consider the Iberostar Selection you would’ve had a great experience especially with the food and the food is better. If you are traveling without kids, the way to go is with the Royalton Hicacos and if possible upgrade to Diamond Club.

i think it would have been smarter to just go on the vacation and pay to eat... unless you had vacation protection

I would try to become they're worst nightmare. She was right that was unacceptable and a confirmed booking is a legal document and contract.. They should have contacted the Jamaican Tourist Bureau . They may have acted as mediator for them and held someone accountable at that resort. Somebody on the part of the resort messed up and they're trying to make that poor family pay for it. I don't know how that legal system works there but me and that hotel would be in court.. I take disappointing my family seriously. Actually they should have gone anyway. Purchasing their own food would have been cheaper then what they wanted to charge. There are restaurants all over Jamaica. Plus I would have gone to the tourist bureau in person. I'm so sorry this happened to that family.
