Use a wood nail and put it in middle of the screw, solder on top of the middle of the wood nail and wait 1 minute so it get completly hard. Then turn the nail with your finger. I don't know why he is using a resistor, it's not strong enough.
Thank u dude theres a corroded screw my ps2 im repairing and iv tried everything from rubbers bands to tape but its to gone to grip anything and i didnt want to use a drill on a delicate machine :)

I used this method on an old laptop I removed 3 screw. The first one I used resistor but the two screws are stacked up so I just add lots of solder on top of the screw then use a small flier to turn it counter clockwise and it works.. Thank you...
Screws are soft, the tools are softer and 2 are in there like a tick, rounded out the T5 and the tiny screw driver as if somebody used superglue on the threads when screwing these 2 in. How much would it cost to do this right... almost 3k laptop and you can't remove the screws, insane.

Not everyone has soldering tools on hand. It's better to use a electric drill and extracting drill bits.

Very good tip, sometimes lens screws have threadlocker and the iron tip helps break it down
Can confirm it works! You can use anything solid to rotate the screw. In my case i just angled the screwdriver and turned it like an allen wrench.
