@@fritzsguitars I just shot a video on the Squier debut telecaster. For the price across the pond it might not be a bad idea, for me to get it here in the U.S. it was only about $1 cheaper than the cheapest Tele.

My tubescreamer does this, but I feel like it adds too many mids (can’t dial them out of the amp) and it changes the sound too much.

Have you tried an EQ pedal in front, this will help to reduce the unwanted frequencys very well. Further, you could use it to crank the level and boost your amp. Something like a boss eq. I tried it and fixed the strap with tape in different locations, did not worked well.

All HB that for different reasons not matching my expectations I ending up to resale them. At the moment I have arround 10 left. :-) Also I have to sell ones, to have space for new ones... really difficult to make then a decision wich on should go

Agree, if there is no fret buzz issue due to too high or low frets. Then it is easy to setup and a great deal.

Hi, the weight of the guitar is 7.3 lbs or 3.3 kg. Under the pickguard is a rout for a neck pickup too (size for an humbucker). 3 way switch with the special Esquire wiring for 1 pickup would be a nice add on, i like the idea to have a switch position to simulate a tone pot turned down.

Not sure what you mean, this is an squier sonic tele. or do you mean the version with neck pickup, this I do not have.

@@fritzsguitars It's not a Tele, it's an ESQUIRE. Check the headstock. Telecasters have two single coil pups and have TELECASTER on the headstock. There is no ESQUIRE version that has the two pups (unless you mod one) Yes they share a body shape, but they are not a Telecaster. The Esquire was the first electric made by Leo Fender. Telecasters came much later.

I do not see it strict, even on fender squier page the esquire is an subpoint under telecaster. same body and headstock shape, difference only as you mentioned right, 1 or 2 pickups. For a real Esquire I would expect the 3 way switch and the special wiring as well :). At the end all just names and does not matter much, It is my Esquire Telecaster and I like it.

Yes and No. The sound and look of the guitar was great, but it was not well balanced on the strap, neck heavey and for me it made it uncomfortable to play.

550 series 1 beside the colors was quite equal to 450plus, only the neck on 550 1 was slimmer and without pickguard and no coil split option. 550 series 2 (today available) has different pickups and stainless steel frets. They sounding fatter compared to 450plus, but I still prefer 550 series 1 or the 450plus. The play feeling with this stainless steel frets is a little different, to me they feel bigger/higher.

The guitar type Jazzmaster Baritone is similar, but they using Squier Baritone as I could see. This Harley Benton is the same scale lenght 30" and would do the job also good. Further they having in the Squier Jazzmaster Pickups, compared to P90s in the Harley Benton.

Amp plugin based on Fender DLX Reverb :), no real amp. Maybe a little digital delay on it.
