Chester Cab Pizza on Park Ave too, I'm not a big "Chicago Style " pie guy, but damn they make a good one. Plus their wings are epic, especially the breaded ones, & they come with a big thing of dipping sauces.

Lives in Rochester 40 years, captain tonys on Winton or 2 ton tonys if your looking for the biggest pizza in Rochester using the Rochester famous perellies sauce

30 year transplant from NYC/LI/NJ here. I try all pizza like its a mission. Guaranteed yummy to my taste are Perri's (Huge Slice), Mark's (Their New York Style isnt what it says, but it is delicious!), Byrne Dairy (but not all locations are great - Manitou & Spencerport Rd is current fave), and Pizza Land in Avon (Sluces suck and sit and go stale, but get a fresh pie and its thick bubbly fluffy heaven).

What establishment is open only 2 days a week for few hours. Must be expensive

My personal favorites after years of trying things. Pontillo's in the Basin TK's in Fairport Cam's Penfield (250 & 441)

Canandaigua Pontillo's is the best in the area!

Guida's Pizzeria is currently my favorite. Gotta ask for the round, thin crust, and well done. Cam's has really good taste as well just depends which one you go to, Titus is probably the best. Linda's used to be way up there but they fell off the last couple times I went there and haven't gone back.

Pontillos Bushnell Basin is my favorite slice. Not a fan of Detroit style pizza.

Ill never buy a slice, fresh pie or nothing. And nothing in rochester so far has been that great. I still need to try peels on wheels, they make a real grandmas pie which is my favorite and gives me cautious hope. Not like the garbage fake grandma pie at joes brooklyn. Pontillos on lake ave fresh out of the oven is decent. But i dont get pizza often livong here, having lived in nyc for a while almost everything sucks. There is a reason dave portnoy hasnt visited a place here ever. We have bad pizza.

i was pretty excited to watch this, thinking it was going to be at least 10 minutes of walk throughs of Greycliff... but it is mainly ads and info about other places.. somewhat informative but i didnt just want, so much, to know this house was here and when its tours were open, but more about the house and the people... did you know this house was built with so much glass because Martin's wife was almost blind and their first house by Wright is the iconic D Martin House which was not as well lit by windows.. This one has amazing views, too, which i heard about but didnt get to see here.. .. . Don't feel bad, though, i havent found pictures or videos of those views anywhere else either lol If you start with Frank Lloyd Wright's wikipedia article you can find many interesting stories and links to his works and the people he hung out with... Darwin was a lifelong friend of Wright's and The Great Depression took them down with all the others who were destroyed by that debacle.. OP here characterizes Darwin Martin as a rich guy and leaves it at that but he was a part of a great american story about building a great company from scratch and NOT stepping on everyone to do it. What i wouldn't give to step upon this land and immerse myself in this environment created by Wright and inspired by the Martin's sensibilities... To be able to be within this home surrounded by the sheer beauty of the nature it sits within would awe me to speechlessness. ....anyway... onward lol
