Another wave of Japanese attack at Pearl Harbor would not have changed the results much. A comparison of the resources of the two sides can be judged from the fact that Japan had 18 aircraft carriers at the peak of its strength. At the end of WWII, it had only 4 carriers left. The US had 99 carriers at the end of WWII!

Moorish rule of Spain has been heavily romanticised and it is forgotten this rule came about by the fire and sword. It was never continuous or harmonious with many Islamic factions fighting for control. And that although none Muslims could rise far, they could never hope to be equal and at times could find themselves on the wrong side of the unequal relationship with death resulting. And long before Spain or other European countries got involved in the African slave trade the Moors led the way in a system that lasted much longer than the transatlantic slave trade which involved higher numbers.

Not sure, if the Germanic tribes centuries later were so instrumental in the fall of the Western Roman Empire. Sure, they migrated westwards, but were pushed by the Huns. It was a Scottish civil war. More Scots were in the govenment forces than English. There was also a religious dimension too. Catholic highlanders and lowland protestent. Bonny prince Charlie spoke English with a thick Italian accent and was more Polish than Scots.... Not a bad effort from you. But there are more than a few holes in your story. Also, seen from an American view point, it's not surprising that there's more than a pinch of anti British feeling. For example.. Anti English? It had nothing to do with the English.. The troops were British, as also the government. Anyway, thank you Mel for your take on British history. B - 🤔😉

@@covertwars it was more about the crown and who wore it and what religion the king followed. For the majority of Scots the king had to be protestant first and foremost. The same with the English. Having a German king with Stuart ancestors, and being protestant was a good fit for both countries.. My point is, it was not a war between England and Scotland. It was a rebellion by a minority of Scots against the British government. The Scots had a referendum a couple of years back on leaving the union.. They voted No. Not much has changed over the last 300years.. When they finally stopped fighting each other, and became the British, they built the biggest empire in human history. That's how much they 'hated' each other... I found your video very enjoyable. Keep up the good work and, thank you. 👍
