Never buy fancy cooking equipment. Buy one cast iron (season it and don’t wash while hot with soap) one stainless steel sauté, and a few non sticks. I cook every day and a LOT of Chinese, Thai, Viet, Italian and Eastern European food and I’m good with this set up. I do only cook for two people tho, so you may need more than one stainless steel sauté but trust me get the cheap nonstick Cuisinart frying pans and just get new ones when they inevitably warp! ❤

I do the same for deliveries, like the second I open the door the guy could pull out a knife and give me the casual British greeting.
