To create the vocals, I record the melodies in my voice and play the chord progressions on a MIDI controller. Then I use AI software like Izotope Nectar 4, Vocoflex and V Synth on my laptop. I also use AI services like Audimee, and Suno to import and export my tracks. With these AIs you can create background vocals, different singers, choirs, tracks, split tracks into vocal and instrumental stems, change the voices into male and female, combine them into duets - sopranos, tenors, altos or baritones. They sky is the limit with AI now. It's like having an entire recording studio and hundreds of vocalists at your beck and call for any time you want to work on a song. And the tech is changing so fast, the minute I learn one thing, something new and better and more powerful pops up. Lol. You can choose from hundreds of voices with AIs like Audimee. You can upload your own tunes to both Audimee and Suno. With Vocoflex, you can modify and change your voice, melody and lyrics into completely different voices, combine them, etc . I use Cakewalk and Ableton for my DAWs to do mixing and processing with diff AI plugins and software. Band in a Box for background tracks. MIDI in from my Yamaha digital grand. I have videos up of projects with Ableton, Cakewalk and BIAB. But no tutorials. Maybe in the future I will do some videos covering my home studio setup and my favorite AIs, apps, hardware and software. You have given me some good ideas. But for now, I'm trying to finish 12 Christmas songs in 3 different genres - like the 12 days of Christmas! Before Christmas gets here. I'm running out of time! :-) The writers of the lyrics and the composers of the carols and hymns from hundreds of years ago are listed in the description and at the beginning of each video. I wanted to give a bit of history. These carols and hymns are all public domain - older than 70 years. So you don't have to worry about copyright violations. It's fun to take songs from hundreds of years ago and rearrange them and re-record them into modern styles and genres like indietronica and goth rock. Even though we can enjoy them set to modern genres, it's still nice to feel the history behind some of these songs. :-) There are lots of playlists with chord progressions for piano and guitar and original songs I've written on this channel. But I won't go back to posting those until probably January next year when the holidays are over.
