You guys have a nice rapport, if it were me I'd consider going into the deep Weeds on the Clark thing. This thing has become a little bigger than basketball... When we look at it, it's totally true that women before have taken a lot more abuse, and it's a Bully Club that's been running that league and running it into the ground and lowering the quality of basketball. That's the real reason why people got excited about Clark abd this Iowa team - showing the highest level of skill even though, besides Clark 15:44 , they were all average players. People love underdogs and they loved seeing great teamwork. People don't love the institutionalized abuse that's gone on to rookies in that league for decades or the Monopoly teams that fail to make stars in college. There's a whole new set of eyes and light on the WNBA and they can't hidethe bully Club in the things that they got away with. And I'm going to say it the way I think it really is. I believe they expect her to take the abuse because they took it, and I think the racial narrative in the end cuts backwards because black women are expected to participate in the abuse cycle and also it's not PC to criticise any black women. Of course any people a place beyond criticism become incapable of growth, so in the end because we've got majority black players this is hurting black women more than anybody else. Let's face it Caitlin Clark could walk away with 50 million dollars. But she doesn't want to, she wants to leave to be the best that it can be, that's why she loves skill players like Maya Moore and she's trying to weather the storm. The best thing that would happen is if some other young players like Aaliyah Boston would step away from the bully club and join her and say look we're going to play good basketball and we're not going to believe each other or the next rookies, that area is over and we're going to make a real success that lifts everybody up. the fact is if the WNBA could have teams that played high skill ball like we saw with Iowa and college, they would soon be able to pay the players a million dollars a year. Sure that's not NBA money but that's something to make a happy life with. Clark is there to break the spell, I don't think she wanted to be caught up in all of this but it's just how it is and if they don't mess this up and they treat her right and treat each other right it's going to be better for everybody. The other choice is to blow one of the biggest opportunities in history. I would encourage doing some deeper research into how Caitlin Clark came to be and the culture that allowed her to develop so well, and then also look at where all of that divisiveness started, I'll give you a hint it started with a college coach and if we take away the influence of coaches and players who incite bully behavior it'll only be better for everyone. Go Sha'carri Richardson, that was a crime last year and I'm not talking about what they accused her of which was so minor that it's unbelievable. Maybe in the end it will be a blessing in disguise as hopefully she'll be able to manage the fame that we expect her to get when she gets the gold in the 100. Nothing's guaranteed though and she needs a perfect start. She's young enough that she can keep improving and maybe she can go after Flo-jos record in a couple of years too
