Great video and glad I came upon it. Would love to know what time of year you were here as we are going to be in Tanote Bay in end of June/early July 2025 and someone said the water can be too choppy to snorkel. We are bringing our 8 and 11 year old for that very reason so would be great to know.
@@daveogorman9636 Thank you so much! We were there in late April. June/july is hard to tell, we have never been in that period, it is light rain season but there is still a lot of sunny days from what we hear so we hope you have great weather. We are going back in october (worst monsoon month) so we will see how that looks then :) Tanote bay though is the most family friendly of them all, apart from Sairee Beach of course. Not al lot of sharp corals immediately, lots of fish and great food!

Thank you so much :) We just booked a taxi to the park and payed the entrance fee. We didn't have to book entry to the park in advance 😀
It’s possible find a quick track that bring you to this view point without spent a night out?
Well you can take a bike from the parking lot and then boat from the lake to Aktse. You will have to walk from aktse the remaining 8 kms though. I dont know about shortcuts but it is doable without spending a night. We met a few who started early and did it. :) Bike trail (walk or bike 9 km). Boat to aktse 15 min (instead of walking 6 km through forest) and then walking 8 kms to the viewpoint. Hope that helps :) good luck!
Hi. Is it possible to set up a tent in Aktse and use the kitchen and toilet ?
Yes!. Not really sure if they charge for the use of the facilities or not. But there were tents set up outside the cabin area when we passed by.

Remember that dogs are not permitted in to the national park.
Yes they are not allowed in to the park. Luckily we and a few others with dogs kept out of the actual park itself :) And dogs should always be kept in a leash
But you enter the national park if you walk at the path up to skierfe.
The view is not just the best in Sweden, but also the most beautiful view of miles after miles of undisturbed nature in Scandinavia.

(Check it out in UA-cam) There is a direct daily flight from Manila, Cebu going to Caticlan Airport in Boracay Islands. BEST THING TO DO IN BORACAY ISLANDS. 1. Island Hopping in Boracay Islands, it is full of white sandy beaches, blue indigo waters and dreamy sunsets. Known to be unexploited paradise. The stops often includes the beaches of Lapus-lapus, Ilig-iligan, Crocodile Island & Magic Island. 2. Visit Puka Shell Beach in Boracay, it is located in Yapak, Malay, Aklan, tricycles and boats going to Puka Shell Beach can be hired from White Beach. 3. Ariel's Point is the most popular for the 15 meters high diving boards where adventure junkies can leaf off to the clear waters below. It is located in Batason, Buruanga, Aklan,purchase a ticket from Ariel's house in Station 1 where the boat leaves to Ariel point. 4. Åh Doktor Ham, det var så underbart att träffa honom igen. Vi har varit hos honom sen 2016, fast innan Corona så låg han på stranden vid Market village. Man gick ner vi Hua Hin 71 Alley :)

@@johanandstina4472 Ja den var lite annorlunda sen vi var där sist. Men skönt att det börjar att öppna upp som vanligt igen överallt. Fast nu är man hemma i Sverige igen och får börja längta tills nästa sommar igen då vi åker ner :)

Ah vad det ser härligt ut med lite liv och rörelse igen :) Vi åker ner på måndag och stannar i drygt 4 veckor, har längtat till vårat hus i Hua Hin över 2 år nu :)

Is that the standard room , I’m going for the grand deluxe in August, can’t wait to get back there , not been there since 2018 , just chilling in Hua Hin at the minute getting fit and losing weight before I head to the islands lol
Haha one always feels like a 100 years old and a few pounds too heavy on the islands 🤣🤣 This was a so called Grand Superior room :) It is a little smaller than Grand deluxe. Yeah it was good to be back. We went in 2019 and its been a looong 3 years.
@@johanandstina4472 cheers , glad you had a good one , I’m going to do all 3 islands when I’m there before I fly home , even though it’s rainy season, it will be nice to relax, I need to buy my first drone when I get back to the uk and learn how to use it , so I’m ready for when I return in December for the winter and start travelling around the country,
@@wbev_thai1666 That sounds amazing. There is so much to see. :) Even though we are back home now and in the middle of the blazing heat, we still want to go back ! Oh and by the way, we booked a grand deluxe room first when we got to Sairee Hut, but the one we chose was a bit older and had a roof leak so we changed to the Grand superior. But the staff were immediately on it and switched us in less than an hour. They were great!
