Tsaatan, Mongolian Reindeer People, tour in the Taiga
One of the most interesting ethnic groups living near the lake is the Tsaatan or as they are better known - ‘The Reindeer People of Mongolia’. A small tribe of Tsaatan consisting of about 45 families lives with its herds of reindeer in the forests around the lake Khuvsgul, Mongolia. These graceful animals provide the tribe with all its basic needs - milk, transportation, meat, skins and bones and antlers used as building materials and for tools.

An important attribute for Mongolian shamans is shared with all other shamanism of Inner Asia: the drum. The drum helps the shaman to enter a trance state by its hypnotic rhythms, associated with songs and dance moves. The drum's skin was often made of deerskin, the drum itself standing for "the saddle animal on which the shaman rides or the mount that carries the invoked spirit to the shaman."...

A ritual, even if well performed, cannot have effects on the fabric of reality due to the presence of video cameras and other people, only the secrecy of the ritual allows it to act on the real world and produce effects.
In my experience I would also add that spirit possession requires a private, dark space. They just don't appear in public spaces and in front of cameras. But drumming, feathers, bells does attract them.

Thanks Alexandru, The song was actually recorded during a performance of a local Kazakh band comprised of a father (who also happens to be a physician) with his 2 kids, son and daughter. I'll try to get the name of the song, I believe it to be folk Kazakh song.
