I'm sure his finger prints were on the car when he was hanging off it
I am here for old movies 🎬 ❤❤
I am no boy should hit on a girl in high school if the guy is in his20years old
Was stalked**
I was a stalker by a female co-worker. She wrote letters trying to get me fired. She was dismissed and escorted to the exit. I was thankful that H.R. I didn't wait till for her to reach more crazy. It was not about love,it was that she was so insecure about her intelligence. She thought it was smarter than her. It takes all kinds of reasons to trigger stalkers. Sad. Sad. Sad.
'It was not about love,it was that she was so insecure about her intelligence. She thought it was smarter than her. ' She stalked you because she thought you were more intelligent than her? That seems like a strange motive for stalking.
@paulbustion1291 l don't know or have read anything like this. She wrote letters to take me down. She was her own worst enemy. Her pain backfired. She needed help. Yes l too think it was a strange estate. Truth is better than fiction. For sure. Cheers.
At 13:10 'Kurt' asked: 'What's Lauresa say?' Nelson replied: 'Look, I'm asking you as Lauressa's father to knock it off, now, no more. You hear?' Nelson should have replied that Lauresa did not like the gifts and notes either. 'Kurt' might care more about Lauresa's opinion, than her parents'. Nelson's response is odd, in my view. Since Lauresa disliked the gifts, I don't understand why Nelson did not just say that Lauresa did not like them either.
Beginning at about minute 13:20, 'Kurt' said to Nelson Anello: 'You see that big fire over on South 10th last night, big bowling alley. Could have been arson maybe. Teenagers, some of these teenage boys are real bad kids, you know Nelson, real bad kids.' Nelson Anello thought that 'Kurt' might have been making a threat. I really cannot tell what 'Kurt''s point is. Is he making a threat, or is he just describing a fire that happened? What 'Kurt' says seems strange and doesn't make sense in the context of the conversation.
Excuses the police in this movie are pathetic
If what he was doing was not against the law, then what could the police do about it?
The real life stalker of Lauressa Anello was Bruce Raines. I don't understand why the authors of the film changed his name to 'Kurt Harper'. He was convicted of crimes for his stalking of Lauressa Anello, so it does not seem plausible that he could successfully sue them for slander.
Go Mamma ❤
🗣️ 37:05 😂
I remember this movie I was in highschool when this movie was out
'He's got the IQ of [unintelligible], I'd say that's different.' It sounded like 'seek help,' but 'seek help' is not a person so cannot have an IQ. I know what IQ is, but I don't understand her statement. Who was she comparing his IQ to that of?
poor girl!
The way her parents were passive and not addressed this from the beginning is too nonchalant for safety. Situations like that can escalate to really hurting people and the justice system to this day has such relaxed laws for stalking and harassment with the shortest sentences always until the person comes back and possibly take your life. This his is over 30yrs ago and sadly still happens today.
How terrifying, that poor girl and so many other people
Was Kurt on the Autism spectrum?
Probably not, he was a fireman, I don't think that an autistic would be good at a job like that. He might have had slightly below average intelligence. The adverb slightly here is meant literally, not ironically.
Its based off a true story
Wait....the Paul Rudd?
Her little brother and her boyfriend tried to take serious action before the Dad. And without a second thought. I’m surprised the wife didn’t divorce such a weakling.
What a NIGHTMARE for her and family! This was a super suspenseful movie I enjoyed every minute! Thanks for the upload and I hope we see a lot more older movies like this!!
I remember watching movies like this. Sometimes my mom would want me to watch them with her to understand the seriousness of predators. I was stalked for a short period as a 14 year old by my stepdads coworker. I remember seeing his truck watch me at my bus stop. It was really scary. I remember getting nauseous. Thank God it stopped. I did get harassed a couple more times by creepy men. My mom spoke up for me and protected me. I was just one of the lucky ones. My stalkers got bored and sadly probably went onto someone else.
Were there ever any "Moment of Truth " movies that depicted male characters as victims? Those films, by the way, originally were shown over NBC before Lifetime acquired the rights.
lifetime had the best movies😊
A small screen masterpiece.
Her dad was completely useless.
The past isn't always good when you realise this movie is about what people got away with because the law hadn't caught up with the crime yet.
Lamentablemente la ley aveces protegen mas a los malos Solo hacen algo cuando ya es demasiado tarde
I would've have been on trail if it was my daughter because I'm protecting mine period!!!!
Arrogant daughter, stupid/useless dad.
In what way was the daughter 'arrogant'?
@@paulbustion1291 why U so idiot, bloody punk?
Are U idiot? Don't watch? No eyes?@@paulbustion1291
I am piss off with the judge and police they protect the stalker not the victim that not fair. The police should arrested him and lock him up in prison .She deserves to feel safe when she go out and not feel scared the stalker will kill her. Is this movie based on a true story. This lucky she got a good mother trying to protect her daughter from crazy stalker. His mentally ill he need professional help and lock up in mental hospital. I glad he finally got lock up in prison and he can't hurt her.
The police, prosecution and judiciary are limited by the laws. Even if someone is doing something immoral, if what he is doing is not illegal there is nothing that the government or its agents can do about it.
It's sad stalking still happens now. There still really aren't enough laws to stop this sort of thing. TY for sharing this. God Bless You & stay safe.
I'm sorry but Linda was an absolute idiot for not telling off Kurt immediately with the flowers. "I don't want to be 1 of those sterically overprotective mothers". Lady, It's not NORMAL for a 24 year old man to send flowers to a 14 year old!!!!! And what's more bothering is that 1 of the moms said Kurt had a crush on Laurissa since she was 11. That's straight up pedophilia right there Linda. And the dad sucked too by being so passive with Kurt. My god. If a man sent me flowers/gift if I was underage, my parents would beat the s**t out of him.
This annoyed me too, she just blanked those other women who just straight up said Kurt has had a crush on her daughter since she was an 11 year old girl which would mean he was 21 as there's a 10 year age gap between them 🤢
Omg the dad In this movie Pissed me Offfffffff
Great movie except ending was cut off and then the movie started over. I couldn't believe how lax the courts system was and the police and I don't think much has changed even today. Scary how these kinds of situations are not taken seriously.
Physical evidence? What about psychological evidence??
I loved watching these movies with my mom ❤❤
Yesss. Good times. 😢I miss that.
I know what Mrs anello is saying animals are more protected than people
I miss some of those days. But all good. GOD LET US GET UP THIS MORNING. blessings to all. 🎉
I really believe that the guy who was stalking her was really a nut really because he really wouldn't take no for an answer that she really didn't like him really because he wouldn't leave her alone ever really and I am really happy that they passed a Stalking law for this really
such a creep
He is crazy old 15 young girl
It would"ve been nice to see the whole movie. Cuts out way too soon. I don't see any comments about it either. Is it only happening to me ? 1hr 46 min is all I'm getting.
My jaw is on the floor--these parents are complicit.
No they're not .
The opening comments on "Something happened when he put on that uniform," reminds me to much of psychopath police.
WOW . The law is a mess
Love these old Lifetime movies ❤
I found it interesting that at the end the movie starts over again. This stalker was a volunteer umpire, firefighter; and then, becomes a security guard.
FLASH FACT: LuAnne Ponce the actress that plays Laurisa is the sister of Danny Ponce of The Hogan Family and Michael Oliver from Problem Child.
All what the police on this movie is true!! My sister went through the same thing
