    Hi. I’m doing the Flora top I purchased from you. When doing the 3rd round on the small squares, when you DC in the middle of the PS, do you go into the very top stitch (the one where you’ve pulled through the last 2 for the PS) or further down? It’s unclear from the photos. Thanks!

    Written pattern: All the chains are tight ones except the ones specified loose Row 1: 57ch (i find it easier to use foundation single crochet which i used) Row 2: 2ch which is ur first dc of row 2 Dc into 4th chain from hook, continue dc for rest of the row Row 3: Ch 2 as first dc of row 3 Dc 3 more Ch2 Skip 2 stitches, tc into 3rd Ch2 Skip 2 stitches, dc into 3rd *5 more dc Ch2 Skip 2 stitches, tc into 3rd Ch2 Skip 2 stitches, dc into 3rd* Repeat *-* 4 times 3 more dc to end of row Row 4: Ch2 as first dc, dc 1 into second stitch, *2 loose ch, 2 ch, sc into tc from last row, 2 ch, 2 loose ch, skip two stitches from the block of dc in last row, 2dc* Repeat *-* til ur at the end (For the chains here, I did it this way to make the final product more secure) Row 5: Ch2 as first dc, dc 3 (1 into the dc, 2 into loose chs), 2ch, tc into tc from row 3, ch2, dc6 (2 into loose chs, 2 into dc, 2 into loose chs) *2ch, tc into tc from row 3, ch2, dc6* x4 (At the end theres only 4dc to do) One row of full dc One row of full sc (i did this to match the row of single foundation chain but i dont think she did this in the vid) sorry this is weirdly written i dont write patterns but like finding written ones to help me as i go thru the vid

      @@wania8517 no, no, not that part. for e.g., R5: ch 2, 3 dc (1 into the dc, 2 into **chain space**) you can still do your loose chains, i'm just saying for that part, it's the proper way to write out the pattern cause it could be confusing like it's saying to do a stitch into the loose chain which is wrong :)

    • @peanutgallery123
      @peanutgallery123 7 місяців тому

      i think that's how they meant it eg. for Row 5, instead of chaining into the chain space you can also put those into the 2 (loose) chains (as in, the chain stitches themselves). I do this too - it moves around a lot less, if that makes sense. it's a bit more secure and holds its shape better and more rigidly than just doing it into the chain space. @@hanajanaa

    • @hanajanaa
      @hanajanaa 5 місяців тому

      @@peanutgallery123Ahhh I see, that makes sense. I didn't find it an issue when I did it, but maybe that's because of the type of yarn I used. I also used to crochet into the chain instead of the ch space when I started crocheting cause I was confused and it's also not the typical way to do it, hence my correction. I also don't really like the mini holes the back bump of the chain creates when I do it, but to each their own!

  • @wania8517
    @wania8517 9 місяців тому

    Tip for anyone doing this - chain 57, then chain 2 from the turning stitch, and dc into the 4th stitch from ur hook to have the right number

    Hi thank you for making the tutorial! I have some qns: start with ch 58 + 2 (turning) row 1: dc back bump (58 st) is it for every stitch? do i do it loosely since yours has gaps between row 2: ch 2 = 1dc , 3 dc, (ch 2, skip 2, 1 tr, ch2, skip 2, 6 dc) * 5 after the last gap I end up with 5 dc instead of 4 does that mean i have to do a decrease? Should I start with ch 57 instead then? Hope it makes sense thank you! ❤

    • @NightmoonStudioCrochet
      @NightmoonStudioCrochet Рік тому

      Hey! For the first row it is a dc in each st (I think just doing to back bumps made mine look a bit gappy), I think maybe do 2 turning ch but skip 3 stitches as that’s the first dc and the st it goes into if that makes any sense? Then you should have the right amount of stitches ❤️ hope that helps!

    Got confused on the 20th round could have been described a bit more detail. Do I move my stitch marker? Hard to tell where the last stitches are as you decrease also is it a decrease then a chain turn and another decrease? Would have been good to do a few rounds of that section even the written doesn’t explain it well.

    • @NightmoonStudioCrochet
      @NightmoonStudioCrochet Рік тому

      Oh, have you double checked your stitch count is divisible by 25? I hope I didn’t make a mistake with the instructions 😅 Is it a gap like 3 extra dc or like a ch-sp? If it’s extra dc I would probably do a decrease, might look a bit funny but by the end you probably won’t notice it!
