We fish heavy leader because of kelp and sharp rocks, when you have a trophy calico heavier line to prevent any kind of break off

I just seen a kid catch a 50lb sea bass of a paddle board with 25lb. Tie good knots and learn how to fight fish instead of power cranking them to the boat and maybe you won't loose them

The one he is holding is 8” +/-, he recommends this size for boat trolling. They make several sizes you can try for different situations. Like all rigging, you want to balance your set-up. He doesn’t specify color but the one in the video is silver metal with prism tape, 10:20.

I agree, line size only matters when balancing your set-up, and improper line size isn’t defeating the action of a technique and its lure. In this video, some people mistakenly thought I was showing something negative with the boat traffic. It’s the opposite; the boat’s prop wash is causing bait fish to activate. The bridge pilings and underwater acoustics and disturbance are adding to this dynamic. The bait is animated, and the bass use the situation as a feeding opportunity; hence, Zaldain catches a bass directly after the boat motors through. That is the purpose of this video.

I didn't watch or read that anyone was crying, certainly not Zaldain. He kept cool, didn't say a word, continued casting, and caught a fish behind the guy's prop wash, which was the whole point of the video. Prop wash can help. Perhaps the message was too subtle for some. The Facebook crowd picked up on it right away. Thanks for replying.

You can only wonder about the person's motivation for going through where he did. That bridge has six bays; four were wide open, without boats fishing. Nonetheless, I believe that because he drove through in the way he did, it actually helped the bite. The video bears that out, and the point of the video was to not place blame but to get anglers to think about what is happening below the surface, out of sight, in that situation. When things are too calm, and the bite is slow, I'll prop-wash my spot myself. This message is lost on some of your fellow commentators. Thanks for watching and for your reply

I’m so tired of the futile, ‘They Copied’ debate. Did you know the 1st known swimbait patent goes back to 1905? So, who did Livetarget garner their inspiration from? I’ll let the Patent Lawyers worry about that. Rarely is there something truly new on the market. New things are just old ideas happening to new people. By the way, the Pulse Tail is nothing like the Livetarget swimmers.

I was expecting to see someome saying they copied Huddleston, not LiveTarget. I agree with Derrek. Think about the Rapala Original Floater... How many companies "copied" that design? Just about every floating minnow and jerkbait is a copy of the Rapala Floater then...

Dusty Hiebert probably the buoyancy on the frame of the bigger bait needs more counter weight to make it slow sink. It’s the wood or buoyant material before the soft plastic coating.

Derrek Stewart I thought for sure TW would have started stocking up on the Pulse Tail.. nope. I’m on TW E.V.E.R.Y.D.A.Y. and keep waiting to see this bait become available.. hasn’t yet.. not sure why either it seems deadly.. and a screaming good price point as most all of Savage Gear brings to the table. I understand that it’s a fairly new bait still but there are only 4 UA-cam videos of this bait.. and only a couple people have commented on the limited vids.. I ordered the 8” trout Pulse Tail a few days ago and can hardly wait to use it.
