Hello, what kind of mallets are these?

Where can I buy the score for this series
Hi, I guess you can get it anywhere you can find music published by Kendor. For example on their own website. kendormusic.com/product/13802-greensleeves-brown/
Bravo!
Grazie mille!
nice playing! Thanks!
Thank you!
Wow very nice😊🎉
Thank you very much!

Thank you for your comment. Vibraphone does feel different, right?
Hi. What mallets are you using on this video?
Here I'm using the V3 mallets by Vibrawell.
@@heavyvibes90 Thanks. I like your videos!😁
@@hir_0185 Thank you very much!
Awesome Piece🎉what tempo did u take it?
Hello Josue, I must have played it around 60 bpm.
Beatiful! 😊🎶
Thank you, Agustín!
Well done sir! I've had this in my library, but never have had a chance to play it (until potentially this December) and looked it up. You did very well! It'd be cool to hear it in a more resonant space, but appreciate your work on this. Nice job.
Thank you for your kind words! Actually it was the same with me, this piece had been sitting on the shelf for a couple of years before I recorded it for UA-cam.
Sehr schön.
Herzlichen Dank und viele Grüße an Eckhard, meinen ehemaligen Lehrer.
This piece works so incredibly well with the vibes. Beautiful. Thanks 🙏
Thank you very much for your kind words. I agree with you, this piece is suits the Vibraphone nicely.
🙂
Dankeschön
Where can I find this music? It seems to not to be in print anymore
Hi Jaedon, that might be the case, I bought the sheet music a while ago. If you're just looking to play Feldman you can still find "All alone by the Vibraphone" which has some of the same pieces as "Mallets in Wonderland" in it.
@@heavyvibes90 I have the book now but I still do not see it. Is there a way I can get sent a photo copy of the piece?
@@Elvis-Pelvis03 then I guess you'll have to reach out to Kendor Music where the piece was published. People frequently ask me to send them copyrighted material but I don't do that in general. Sorry. Best of luck to you.
what are your mallets ?
In this video I've used the Musser Good Vibes M-235 mallets.
What mallets are you using in this video or recommend for this solo?
I'm using the Vibrawell V3 mallets in this video. They are the hardest mallets I use in my day to day playing but slightly softer ones would have also done a great job.
What mallets are being used here,
These are the M226 Ney Rosauro signature mallets by Vic Firth.
sabia, ney é gente boa de mais toquei com ele ja
comprei das mão dele os meu mallets
Beatiful!
Thank you very much!

Super cool!!! How much time it took to play it?
Thank you for your comment, Nick. This piece is only one page long and if you feel confident playing in 7/8 you shouldn't face any difficulties.
Do you have sheet music?
Hello, what microphone are you using ? Thank you
Hi Jérémy, I'm using a pair of Rode NT1-A condenser microphones.
@@heavyvibes90 thank you !
Great performance! What kind of grip do you use?
Thank you! I play the Burton grip.
Love your performing 👍
Thank you very much 🙏
thank you for your explanation and disponibilities
Anyway, thank you for your answers and congratulations for your interpretation.
Thank you!
last question what does *1) and *2) mean at the beginning
Footnotes, just look at the bottom of the page the asterisks are on. There you will find ab explanations of dead strokes and mallet dampening.
they are not playing why smother them I understand better then on the first measure we stifle the note b c and b?
Yes, the notes you are supposed to dampen are b, c and b again.
I don't understand the notes c d c in the cross at the first measure
The X is a symbol that indicates mallet dampening, which I described in my previous comment. The X is not to be played, it just shows that the previously played note should be dampened. The X can be placed anywhere in the general vicinity of the note supposed to be dampened, Mr Zivkovic just happened to put them where usually the c and the d is located. I hope that cleared things up for you.
is it like a flams?
I do not understand the choking of the note C when it is not played in the first measure, it escapes me, can you explain to me, we therefore stifle the note C D and C? thanks for your explanation
I'm not exactly sure if this is what you are asking, but the a# grace note in the first measure is played like a flam. After that it's just regular mallet dampening, meaning striking the next note with one mallet while simultaneously dampening the ringing note with the other mallet. In this case c, b and a.
you should try 15 too.
You are absolutely right, No. 15 is an obvious choice. It's already on my list and I will be playing it some time in the future.
Joe Porter: Are you challenging me?
Props to Joe Porter for being so successful and making percussion instruments more visible to the world. Though I would say that our concepts are quite different.
Great 👍 👌 👍 👌 Where is possible found the partiture2?
Thank you! This piece is from the Funny Vibraphone Book I, which you can find pretty much anywhere. You can also get it straight from the publisher gretel-verlag.de
@@heavyvibes90 thanks so much!!
This piece is sensitive and energetic in the same time! Beautiful performance 👏
Thank you, I'm glad you liked my interpretation.
Mallet recommendation?
Hi there, I've used the Vibrawell V3 mallets but you can use any mallets you deem fit.
@@heavyvibes90 does the music not have a mallet recommendation written into the book?
@@zaccsonofjohn1132 No, it does not.
@@heavyvibes90 ok thank you
Very nice. I'd play it slower, as intended, and maybe with a little rubato, but you're making much fewer mistakes than others (and much fewer than I was doing when I was still in music school). This is probably the best recording on UA-cam, based on audio quality and accuracy. You have a new subscriber :)
I counted 16 obvious mistakes, but some youtubers have made at least a hundred (I used to make about 30 while playing significantly slower).
@@Krzeszny95 thank you for your subscription, I appreciate it. At the time I wanted a straight forward interpretation and this is what it turned out to be.
And the revocation shirt to top it off let's goooo
Thank you! You are the first person to ever mention any of my shirts.
