Unfortunately I have no information and can’t help you in this matter! But if the m50 radiator fits, why not get one! But I would understand if the sensors don’t fit bolt in! But you could check behind the instrument cluster behind the temp gauge and check if the nut is loose(common problem) Or just buy a new temp sensor! Sound like you have an issue in your instrument cluster tbh! Check the nut and look for erosion! After I cleaned mine up and change the si board and temp sensor everything works perfectly

The z3 probably had like 60-70 cm maybe.. Maybe get the roof racks installed and go try out the tent on the car if it’s possible.. The roof racks can always support more weight, 75 kg is while driving was my reasoning. It’s not easy being a pioneer for the Audi TT, but testing as much as possible. That’s basically what I did with e30 and z3

@@challengeronrift I hear you! At Travelling speed I definitely see 75kg as a maximum for sure! stationary I’ve done around 180-200kg on all my cars with bars saying maximum capacity 75kg, but I did a lot of testing beforehand:) What kind of roof racks options do you have? my ig is @lifeofkap1

Its Leather paint! It still looks great one year later. But it’s pretty fragile and you have to be careful to not scratch it! I would do it again but maybe use a real stronger spray clear coat👌

Hi friend! My reasoning is that the car should always be able to lift its own weight if it flips over. You should always read in the manual the capacity and read about the capacity of the roof racks! In this video i used 3 racks, but your car can probably only have 2 racks. In theory it should work if you are “ normal “ weight! We were pushing around 200 kilograms on my roof without problems! Z3 coupe and e92 have similar roofs and where you install the roof racks so I don’t see why this should be an issue! There must be someone who has fitted a RTT on a e92 by now and might have the right answers for you! I see no reason why it wouldn’t work! Good luck fam! Let me know how it goes:)🙏

Even if your roof racks say it can only hold a certain weight remember that that weight limit takes into consideration while driving at 60+ miles an hour. For camping you should be fine

Hi, Unfortunately not! Maybe if get a ceiling mounted machine in your garage that raises and lowers so you don’t have to do it by hand, car roof boxes have these types of setups.

Usually Facebook marketplace / e30 groups is the best place to look! Not sure which county you live in, but maybe eBay, but that can be super expensive.. If you live in America start reaching out to ppl who have a vert and hardtop and see if you can source one out with the help of the e30 community ✌️ England, US and Germany has a lot of hard tops 100%

Everything is depended on the prep work.. The colour doesn’t hide the 30year old leather structure / ware and tear without leather filler It’s not hard to the touch, leather paint is kinda soft.

I assume that this car is not your daily driver, and unless I’m wrong, this car isn’t being parked outside in the elements on a regular basis. So, how would you characterize the interiors durability so far? Has it held up reasonably well so far?

@@weifeng5958 i dont recommend doing this.. this is me experimenting and trying out different visions I have.. I suggest just reupholster the seats / interior is the way to go. This takes to much time and effort, it’s really hard to get right.. and you have to be good at using a spray gun as well to get an even layer..
