Paisley is a nice little place. I used to stay in Bly when I owned the old movie theater there and would drive the back roads through the mountains and come out at Paisley. My favorite place is Summer Lake Hot Springs which is in the area.

Green energy manufacturing, consumer electronic manufacturing, tax breaks for sectors that invest heavily in the communities by employing locally and investing in the public. That's what I think all of Eastern Oregon needs.

My father was a chainman, then surveyor in circa 1930 when hwy 395 to the east was aligned at the base of Abert Rim and Lake Abert. They lived misly in tents at the south end of Lake Abert in veliw zero temps. The long bar in the restaurant was there in the 1930's.

It is great to see Paisley again. I went to Paisley school back in 2005 as an exchange student. Before I die, I really want to visit Paisley again and spend about a month and feel the quite and cozy atmosphere again.. miss so many people. is Homestead still in business?
