They sound quite like waratahs
Hey, very cool. Good luck.
Nice videos, was certainly a great weekend
I was there, very disappointed by the lack of Steam trains. The promo featured 3801 and it's been offline for many months now. I don't know why the F1 needs a big white placard on each end. Impossible to get clean shots of the train.

This is a really cool event. Too bad there's no description of what this is, where it is and when it happened. I'm sure there would be more views.
Thanks for your comment.
Why do you turn the camera upside down at 10:49?
Just a bit of fun while editing. Being shot on a 360 camera you can control it during post.
Greetings from Northern Italy. Could someone kindly explain to me the reason why in Australia, although automatic coupling is in place, many vehicles are equipped with buffers? If I'm not mistaken, in the United States the trains with automatic coupling do not have buffers. And even here in Italy the new light vehicles (railcars, ETRs and similar) which have received automatic coupling since they left the factory, do not have buffers.
Thanks for your comment. Most of the trains in my videos are of heritage rolling stock ,they need buffers.
Cool Bill 😎

Great videp John......Howies Rail Videos
Vision of our rich history here, not just the magnificent Aussie made 3801, but also the causeway she is crossing from Hawkesbury River station. The causeway was constructed to connect to the HR Bridge and connects to Long Island to the Bridge. Prior to that the rail trip further north involved alighting at Wharf station and getting on a steamer boat for travel up Broken Bay and Brisbane Water to Gosford for reconnection to train. As a kid, I recall the local oyster farmers walking along the HR platform with their big baskets of bottled oysters and selling to train travellers. Lovely oysters farmed around here.
Still a beautiful locomotive that was made at the Clyde Works, Sydney Australia in 1943
You got to the front for the money shot at Hornsby.
