Learning how to make music!
Boss Battle in a Music Store
I really wanted to make something that was faster than my usual music (slow piano/classical sounding pieces) but i never have any motivation for it, so i decided to force myself to make the piano rhythm you hear at the start, and it managed to work out really good!
This song sounds alot like "streets of rage" to me so i can picture this being a street fight theme of some sort, but i couldnt really come up with any good names. I can picture some annoying music store clerk who wont let you try out any of the stuff and the protagonist getting real mad and having a fight with the entirety of the stores employees.
Im really happy with this one though i cant lie, its definitely one of my favourite songs ive made so far. I will hopefully have a halloweeny song coming out at some point soon (havent started it yet), which should be pretty deesh.
Hope you enjoyed!

Had another little break, but im enjoying music more and more which is good! Im really into orchestra right now so thats definitely what i will be experimenting with for the next little while, im also going to try and buy "Audio Imperia Nucleus" or "BBC Orchestra Core" which are both all in one orchestral libraries which include everything i would want to make orchestra pieces straight away. FINALLY BACK! I really like this piece which is cool, cuz usually i dislike them (especially in the beginning) but this one was enjoyable to listen to, as early back as just making the chord progression! Ive had some problems over the past few weeks (hence the break, which was much needed) and this song is possibly a representation of the feelings that have been felt throughout that time. I did...

Ive taken a couple day break due to 0 motivation, but im back now hopefully! This trend will most likely continue for ages (me being frequent, but inconsistent) but it will be interesting to see how this changes over the next year or two (i plan to do this for a very long time). I literally said last video that i want to keep a streak of doing compositions every 2 days, but ive broken it already... I have many excuses but realistically it comes down to not feeling like it. Still tho, 4 days isnt the worst. Im kinda happy with this one - at first it was entirely supposed to be a nocturne (waltzy, like nocturne op9 no2) but it doesnt sound nocturne-like enough for me to ...

Ive just found a cool synth vst called "vital" which is a free version of "serum" pretty much, and its so good! Its very easy to use and you can make some cool retro sounds on it, so i will definitely be using this again! Im going to try and hit the schedule of making one video every 2 days, which is 100% do-able as long as i dont procrastinate, so im going to try and keep a good streak up for ...

Ive been on holiday for a few days, plus its taken me a while to get back into routine - which is why its taken me quite a while to make another song. Finally back now though, im looking forward to making more songs! This one definitely reminds me of streetfighter - like a theme of a character or something. Im happy with it though, and it was fun to make the drums for this one - I decided to li...

Ive finally made a song in under one day! Usually it takes me ages to make one song, but i decided that i wasnt going to overcomplicate things this time and it ended up working out perfectly. Im very happy with how this piece turned out! For my next song im 100% going to be using some of my new vst's, which are way more upbeat and cray than this. I was going to name the song "this plays when we...

This took me so long to make for some reason... Im quite happy with the end result atleast, this is definitely my least favourite song yet tho. Ive finally brought some new vst's - I used the "SWAM Violin" and the "Ample Qudi" which i think sound great. Ofcourse though, as i learn, i will be able to make them sound much better than how they sound in this video. Ive also gotten a few more VST's,...

Just like the french beat, i hated them so badly at first, but grew to like them more and more as i added to them. I made the drums like 3-4 days ago, but i was happy with them when i first made them because ive never been good at making drums... Maybe the random beat boxing i unintentionally do 50x/day is helping! I think theres still an insane amount of room for improvement, but im happy with...

Continuing to work on new genres, for this one i was inspired by some french and italian music, but ended up going full on french mode. Im really enjoying making these, compared to when i used to make piano arrangements, because i dont have to record the perfect take, all i need to do is make it, so it takes way way less time and is fun af too. Im thinking of doing some crazy D&B/Breakcore kind...

My first full composition. Im going to be studying lots of different genres but i thought i would start off with a bossa nova, as theyre quite simple. It took me 2 days for this one, but im sure it will take way longer soon, especially for the difficult genres. How do you come up with your melodies? Do you have a musical background and just improvise or do you pick up every note?
I wouldnt say i have a "musical background" ive been playing piano very very inconsistently for like the past 3-5yrs ish, but have learnt some nice classical pieces such as "Chopin Nocturne op9 no2". But yh its mainly just trial and error. Firstly, i look at the notes in the first chord being used. example - c major chord has C, E, G - so i would pick whatever note out of those 3 sounds best to me for the song, then i usually just listen and do trial and error lmao. Although if i have some non diatonic chord (a chord that isnt in the key youre using) then i will see what key im borrowing it from and use notes from that key to build on my melody. (i feel like im overcomplicating this lol). In simple words - Use notes for your melody that are being played in the chord, unless your ear says otherwise. And, when you use a non diatonic chord, you should use notes from the key youre borrowing the chord from. Its just practice though tbh. Start off with the advice i said above, and with time you will just hear what you want (sometimes it wont sound as good as you thought, but as long as you try it out it can lead you to something that sounds great) Oh yh, i also mainly start with the chords before making the melody. Everyone has their preference but thats what works best for me. I like having chords that i think sound great by themself, then i play the chords on loop while trying out some random improv, then if i like the sound of one part i will keep it and just keep doing trial and error until i have something i like. Then, i will listen to it the next day and usually hate it lmao, and then change it accordingly, then once im done with the entire song i usually have a melody that i quite like! Hopefully that makes sense, its hard to get words out simply in text form for me, but let me know if you have any questions on this and i will reply :D
I'm just learning to make music and I'm always listening and thinking about how this or that song is made. It seems to me that all songs are made very difficult, but after watching your video I realize that with only 3 instruments you can make very beautiful music. Thank you very much, you have a very beautiful song, it is so good that it could be music for a game or a movie.
That means alot, thank you! I would recommend you watch @AZALI00013 , if you havent already, for simple but really good songs. Also, a great channel for learning how to compose is @ChristopherSiu , his videos have helped me out a bunch for composing Glad you liked the song! :D
another really good song
thanks! :D planning on starting a faster paced song today, so hopefully it goes well lol!
beautiful.. :')
Thank you! 🙏🏻
Love this, keep making music! It's well done
Thanks you! :D
Wonderful
Thank you! :D
Definitely some personal experience, or something in your life that made you make this song
100%! while making the song i was visualising what i wanted each part to represent (for example - part B is like the memories in the past that hold you back kind of, the not so good memories, but then they get resolved and stuff) and i think i definitely want to do this for all of my future songs as i think it shows quite well in the music. Instead of me just listening to where i want the chord or the melody to go, im going to instead think about what i want the music to portray so that it doesnt strave from what i want the song to be about, if you get what i mean. But yh, this song was made with fresh personal experience, so it was alot easier to decide where i wanted the song to go :D
@@Fena0_0 it definitely matches that theme! Great job

FINALLY AFTER 5 YEARS FENA RELEASED A VIDEO
LMAO
love this
Thank you! 🙏🏻
Really strange comparison but alternatively sounds like a depressed cowboy to me
lmao, that never crossed my mind, but i can see why you can hear that. its interesting how we all interpret the same song differently tho!
The main character sees himself glitching out, trying to sorrow but constantly interrupted by said glitching, he begins to move from denial and accepts the circumstances, as the bugging out begins to harmonize with his sorrowful melancholy, accepting faith as he despawns at the end Or at least that’s my take lul
that is actual cool af lmao! i love the 'despawning at the end' i never thought of that when listening to it
Really bittersweet, I especially like how the ending bit sounds like a little glee of light to the sorrow in the rest of the music. Every time I come back to this channel I seriously think the music would work great in an actual video game..maybe if I ever get around to that? Hey, one can dream!
thanks alot! that would be great, i would love to make music for an actual video-game! definitely something to look forward to in the future!
Hey: About the desc Quality takes time. If you need time to make a masterpiece, go for it. Some impatient little shits will complain about the upload time, but Techno [rest in piece king] uploaded like every month or five and his videos were *comedy gold.* It was worth the wait because he made you laugh If you put effort into your music, fix wrinkles and parts you don't like with spare time, then it's going to turn out awesome. Just a word of advice from someone who likes hugs. :]
yo thank you for that! yh, i 100% agree, i should definitely focus more on quality. its annoying tho, because i know i have the time to make 1song/2days, i just struggle staying consistent with that time frame - but yeah, as you say, im probably better off leaving a "finished" song for a few days to add some minor touches on it before releasing it. rip techno im also changing my routine and stuff, starting monday, where i take weekends off, and i have some down time at night. because ive always tried working 24/7, which is probably why im so inconsistent.. thanks alot for the wisdom! i will now shorten the amount of uploads i want weekly (probably now 2 ish/week) but if i fail to do that - then i will not feel bad about it, and instead use it as a way to improve the music! i appreciate it alot, lets see how this helps me over time! thanks :D

Are you sure you never played Pokemon Silver? This sounds similar to Azalea town
the only "old" pokemon game im 100% sure ive played is omega ruby. but no, ive never played silver before, although i do like the music from that game alot!
When you show up to a place and it looks like it's going to be a blast but then you walk in and find out that no one is inside and the cars that you saw filling the parking lot belong to the people in the building across the street. Catchy tune!
