Well, the F-35 is far stealthier than the Su-57, even the F-117 is far stealthier than the Su-57, so they wouldn't even know there's a single F-35 close to them by the time the Felon squadron starts eating AMRAAMs, the F-35 has the best computing technology in the world sndsensor fusion, and can jam enemy radars in different ways. So if Russia ever wants to surpass the F-35 rhey should focus on building a 6th gen aircraft, because that might be just slightly worse than the F-35. Same for China btw, because the J-20 isn't really that superior compared to the Su-57, idk why anyone would classify non-US 5th gen aircrafts qs 5th gen, they're 4.5++++ gen at best😂😂😂😂

Su-57s are endorsed as only frontal aspect stealth. Its big vectored thrust engines are totally exposed. The F-35s are baked-in all-around stealth. Stealth does not mean totally invisible,it means that the radar would not detect the target at longer range, have a harder time tracking it and harder time getting a lock at the target until the range is colse enough that the radar would have a good tracking and firing resolution. If both are facing each other in a BVR fight they may not detect each other until at a range where they are a few moments from a merge. Now many would say the Su-57 would totally win against the F-35 due to its absolutely better maneuvarability, higher AOA and 3D thurst vectoring but nope. Both aircraft carries high boresight WVR missile and would probably shoot each other down. If it comes to a gun fight its obviously the better pilot who would win (tho if both are similarly skilled you would want to be in the Su-57) Not to mention that both aircraft have powerful AESA radars (N036 Belka & AN/APG-81) that can also be used for electronic warfare and also resistant to jamming themselves. Totally unbiased comment right? But nah the F-35 still wins. Why? There are almost 1000 F-35s while there are only 32 Su-57s not to mention only 22 of those are serial production and the rest are test production

An Su-57 probably cannot destroy the F-16 unless you LET it.... F-16s are ruling the skies over Ukraine and russia knows better than to feed Su-57s to them. Forget the F-22s for now.... and russia has never come up with anything to defeat the F-15 yet much less all this new er stuff...

As I understand it there isn’t enough su57 to form a squadron. Assuming the 57 didn’t break down it really all comes down to pilot skill, you can kill an f35 with a p51 mustang if the skill differential was great enough.
