Hey thanks! I personally stayed in hostels (Zostel - but you can find many) - they are pretty cheap, fun and safe way to stay. I met few people who were staying in nearby home-stays - many just rented a room for a couple of days. It costed them around Rs. 400-700 per day. Don't really have contact but pretty sure you can find online on Booking.com, etc.

Hey bro, when did you go here? Would it be wise to go here in January? And also how was the internet in Zostel Barot?
Took a cab from Bir (around 3 hours and costed Rs.1500). You can trek from Billing also (takes 4-5 hours). January would be completely snow covered and very cold (December last week had temperatures in negatives almost all through the day). Internet in Zostel was not very good. Not reliable but worked for small things. JIO worked fine there though but don't rely too much on good internet there.

@@pranavaggarwal4370 No, Bir is in lower altitude so no snow there at all. But it will be very cold nonetheless. Billing will have snow in January since it's at higher altitude.
What's there to explore?
It's a remote village. If you haven't been to a remote Himalayan village, its a great experience. In winters, there are very less people and its extremely beautiful (and cold). There's many places to hike and see the nearby views.

how much this trip cost totally fr 1 person
If you decide to stay in a hostel (Zostel, etc.) - the dorms will cost you around Rs. 350-600 per night. Separate rooms would be slightly more expensive. Food options will be cheap as well as expensive and you can select based on your budget (You can get food at around Rs. 200-300 per day/ 2 meals if you are fine with adjusting a bit)
