Yo, you cleared the skinny! I've yet to man up and try it, but that said, I want to practice on a bike a little less expensive... I know I have to dump my carbon some day, and this is what the foam pit is for, but a used bmx bike can be 150-500 off of craigs. So I'm waiting till I've got the expendable gear to try that line. Otherwise, my favorite spot to session at the Mill. Can't wait for it to reopen!
i got half way over and felt like i was gonna fall, so i just hurried up and got across real quick.
I didn't know that I've been riding Iron Gate wrong, I always take a left at 1:40. That tiny bridge feature into the jumps is too fun!
Going left takes you onto Concrete Block instead of finishing Iron Gate.

oh no, if you look closely at the last slo-mo clip, you can see my tire burp some air out. my front only had like 15psi in it and it should have had like 25-30 for doing dumb stuff like that, so it just folded over the rim on the right side when i landed. 🤦♂️

That's so bizarre..my Ricochet came with Decipher f/r disc brakes and it was a 27 speed.
This one was actually an 18 speed 2x9 when I got it, and had crappy promax mechanical disc brakes.

Nice bike. How tall are you and what frame size are you riding? I'm thinking about getting a Nukeproof Scout 275, but am having trouble working out the right size frame to buy. I'm about 5'10 with an almost 32 inch inseam, right in between a M and L.
i'd say go for the large. i'm 5'9", also 32 inseam and i have the medium. when i'm seated and climbing, the reach feels a little short, not drastically, but i probably would have preferred the large in that situation.

Nice! I have the GT Pantera Elite 27.5+ and love it. However, I swapped out the long 80mm stem to a 50mm. Better control on the descents and better for my back! Give it a try!
I converted it to a 1x10 setup, and put in hydraulic disc brakes instead of the crappy cable brakes it came with. Much more enjoyable bike after those 2 things. Your right, a shorter stem would be better. Wider bars too.
thinking about ordering the 2019 version of this bike on Thursday when it comes into stock on chainreactioncycles. Looks like its almost identical to the 2018 one. How do you like it? also, what camera do you use for recording?
I love this bike. The very aggressive geometry makes it extremely capable. I have another bike with more XC geometry, and I can't stand riding that one after being on my scout. The slack front end feels great downhill, it climbs well, it has front and rear boost spacing and thru axles. Great bike overall, in my opinion. And my camera is a GoPro hero 5 black, with the new version of the Chesty mount.
