When this song first dropped, there wasn't a video. I loved the song. When the video came out, it changed my inner vision of what he was singing about. Either way, this hit Nate's life, from his relationship to his new bride, and then how he changed when they lost their 1st child. But then they finally did have to go through the changes when they successfully had their 1st daughter. Nate and Bridgette recently had another baby, this time a boy.

Hey guys I have a theory... NF often mentions in his lyrics how he buries 'fear'... 'the old me' etc. (visuals in Let You Down)and as a Christian one must 'die to self' and take up the cross of Christ'... many graves today are dug far deeper than six feet, as coffins are often stacked sometimes three deep 1=6'...2=8' and 3=10' in a single plot to save space, or reuse a plot after a suitable period of time. So NF may be refering to burying his body, soul, and spirit and rising up to new life in Christ as being now one with God ?
