This is a silent, likely military generated, film of the 2nd Marine Division Drum & Bugle Corps playing at a Bicentennial Celebration, possibly aboard a Maryland-located U.S. Army Base. The Drum Corps appears to be playing The National Anthem, but for your entertainment I've dubbed in The Commandant's Own's 1976 rendering of "American Salute," an original composition by Mr. Morton Gould, as arranged by Colonel T.W. Crawford of The Commandant's Own.

This is a 1974 film of the US Marine Drum & Bugle Corps, The Commandant's Own, performing at a Joint Service Honor Guard at the Pentagon, Washington DC. The film was "silent," so I've added a 1975 audio file of The Marines Hymn; no doubt that some of the Marines in the film also performed on the recording.
