This shit still makes me cry as someone who's been playing dauntless for almost 5 years now and have 3k hours on it

It's crazy how they just went and remove everybody's progression in the game! Dauntless wasn't my first hunting game in the genre, (that was MH Tri), however it was a good competitor back then and I enjoyed my time on the game as well, despite it being a bit buggy at times lol. It's just a damn shame, and this is just what happens when greed takes over passion for a game.

They literally shot themselves in the foot... with a minigun. Like bro at this point, just make a new game. Why introduce a system that does not correlate with the whole point of the game?! That's like making Minecraft into a game that makes you teleport into an area that's closed in with the only way to get to another area is to have you run to a checkpoint to another area. That legit defeats the point of a of open world sandbox game. I was going to come back to dauntless to play with my brother because he and I played a lot back when i was in high school. And I gotta say, thankfully, i saw this video.

I tried out dauntless a long time ago it wasnt for me the fact that the game fell so far i am actually pretty happy that i got off early. I would have gotten very peeved from the changes
