Tiger Moth Formation Flight
One of those never forget flights. Evening out in the Great Lakes biplane flying formation with an original 1942 de Havilland DH 82 Tiger Moth with Paul & Tony. Rough cut with no sound track.

On Dave's list of things to do - Aerobatics in a biplane. So just shy of his 82nd birthday we ticked that off the list. Was a great flight in the Great Lakes with rolls, hammer heads, loops, and even a fly over of the Big House - Michigan Stadium. All with large group of family to cheer him on - Congrats Dave!

2014 Battle Creek Balloon Festival at KBTL airport: Evening balloon fly in, twilight aerobatics air show by Rob Holland then Kyle Franklin, and then night air show that included the Indy Boys Jet Bus hitting 300MPH, Younkin's Twin Beech Miss Ellie lit up & loud, finally Bob Carlton in his v-tail jet powered glider (yes glider) doing his night pyro show.

Quick flight with Baylen for 1st time in a biplane and doing aerobatics. Great time trying rolls, loops, hammer heads, and more. Couple of quick landings on local grass strip before heading home at dusk with clouds making for an early night - and large flock of geese on short final to make it interesting!

Taking Jen up for her 1st flight in the Great Lakes biplane on her birthday - what better day to do your first ever aerobatic loop too?! Great flight at sunset with some spectacular pictures above the stray clouds, sunset, and even couple of loops around "The Big House" Michigan Stadium.

Not used to seeing a low power decent profile. Different than what I'm used to. We use 2400 rpm and about 110kts to give us our cooling. Then we have to dive with the rope on the end into a 600m strip from 150ft over the fence.
What an absolute pleasure to watch! Great music combined with stellar flying. I loved you tapping and enjoying the music, and assume you had it playing in your headset as well? We have one of these in our family and my Dad at 80+ was still doing this as well. Cheers.

hi- do you have a retractable tow rope? didn't see if you dropped the rope before landing.
Not necessarily required we go into a 600m strip where I tow with a 150ft non retracting rope. We don't tend to drop it unless it is a new tow pilot or we need to.
There is a yellow pawnee with a chev motor at the Benalla (victoria, Australia) gliding field. No cool down needed after releasing the glider. Sure sounds different!
