I find out I have Sickel cell anemia

Bohemian hair tangles Wayyyyyyyy to much. I love it but it does not hold up for long, moreso if the hair is long. I have a love hate relationship with bohemian hair.

I am a medical doctor and a sickle cell patient. I can't help but tell you that ferrous sulphate should NOT be used in the management of sickle cell anaemia unless the patient also has iron deficiency anaemia in addition to the already existing sickle cell disease. Use of Ferrous Sulphate in Sickle cell can lead to iron overload, because the patient is storing iron in their liver, muscle , marrow and spleen ( for those who have a spleen) each time their red cells break. Your body is constantly storing iron because your cells are constantly breaking. You don't need an iron supplement unless your have iron deficiency due to malabsorption, bleeding, low dietary intake or other causes. It's a common mistake in medicine for doctors to prescribe Ferrous Sulphate for sickle cell anaemia. Ask your doctor why they prescribed an iron supplement. Do you have iron deficiency in addition to sicke cell? Discuss risk of iron overload with your doctor.

I’m so glad I found your channel. I have the same type of sickle cell as you. I live in the UK and do not receive the right treatment for my condition whatsoever. I had a stroke when I was 17 due to sickle cell. I also have bone disease in both shoulders. I feel like a lot of the doctors treat me like I am just seeking strong painkillers when that is not the case at all. A lot of the times I get depressed. I am currently in my last year of university and trying so hard to finish my studies. I too go to the toilet once a week due to the pain medication I am on. I am on fentanyl patches dihydrocodiene and morphine for pain but when I have a bad crisis the only thing that works is the medication I have in hospital. I do feel like over in this country sickle cell is not taken as serious. I am 32 now and my mental health has suffered so much due to this illness and the treatment I get by medical professionals. I have been told by nurses to stop crying and that the pain can’t be that bad. Over here it’s really cold and that doesn’t help at all. I just wish I had more support as there’s days when I don’t even want to be here just to keep struggling through pain. The medication I have been on has also ruined my teeth completely, to the point where my teeth will break like chalk. I try hard to stay strong but it’s a lot. I’m glad I came across your page. I received 170. That one went on you so well . I’m very close to your tone but I’m more or a yellow undertone thought I was red but nah I put it in it was a shade dark and orange. It was strange because in my bathroom it did good and in the car I matched my tone perfect but if I look in the mirror I was an ompa lompa I don’t know

I'm back...I see you in colors in other videos that show you looking good in cool colors too🧐 maybe that's why they chose that #170 4 you. I still want some more from the undertone. This tells me that I have to try the warm shade and cool near 170 to see what's best. They offered me 170 also, and I'm a warm neutral. I just took that crochet out a week ago. It was cute but it wasn’t giving me life like yours is. I’m not sure if there was a chemical on the hair or what but my scalp drove me crazy with this hair in. I could only last a month before my scalp became to inflamed from me scratching

They matched me with 170 idk anything about make up but i know that 170 just cant be right

I originally ordered the 170 and I think it looked great on me and when I complained to them about the extremely light concealer they sent me they sent me an even lighter foundation (195) and a slightly darker concealer for free.. and honestly I’m not even going to complain. One for the summer and one for the fall 😂 Got 2 foundations and 2 concealers for the price of one
