Thanks. When I was stuck out in the dunes I had used some very large zip ties about 3/8” wide and some hose clamps that I scavenged off the cooling hoses that lead down to the clutch housing. Then when I got back to camp I ripped it all apart and use the two-part Apoxsee and had a kit of all kinds of hose clamps, grab the large ones and even had two clamps to make one. After I glued it I clamped the hell out of it and got me through another day, and that’s all I needed to save our trip. I’m pretty sure it was all that backfiring that you can hear throughout the video that caused it to pop.

Just realized, be careful about using the max lens mod in that low position because there is no protection for it. That’s why I used a hero 8 with a ND filter.

@@lunarduner7103 i lost a brand new polar pro ND 32 during that sand storm here at glamis the week before Veterans Day weekend to a sand blasting of the lens lol

Yes, more power than I needed. I even tuned it back to the 91 octane tune for the convenience and fuel economy, definitely nice to be able to do that. Thanks agin for the tuning.

Lunar Duner no problem but one fun fact to know is that trucks and trailers aren’t only thing to air down on rzr can ams quads it’s recommended to air down for they can run smoother

chris acsse Yeah, I use to do a lot of rock crawling and we would air down to 5 psi and no beadlocks. But on the Can Am I thinking of airing up to say 12 to 15 PSI just to see if I can gain some more speed and be able to slide more in the turns.

Lunar Duner no i go with family in groups of 10 yeah and if your wondering how I learned all this first time I went I was a rookie I first found out that when going up hills in a atv and stand up towards the end to or it’s always good to do movement while. Riding a atv to keep from getting stuck half way up a hill also last time I went a guy needed helped he was stuck in soft sand with his rzr 900 he wanted me to pull him I said No And I told him to air down and next thing you know he’s out lol I love sharing stories

pismo is open for only 1 day you cant spend the night only 1 day stay on august you will be able to camp again

Michael Taylor I just got the GoPro 8 and didn’t know how to set it up, but I’ve learned a lot since then. As for the editing I’ve been trying some different ones, but this is done with the GoPro editor. The latest Pismo video I have I’m using (2) GoPro 8’s with some filters. The filters make it look a lot better.
