THE NEW OGV 2024
The Hetfield Flying V, called OGV. James first guitar in Metallica. The Gibson V in white is the one that probably neither James Hetfield nor I could afford back in 1980. He probably would have taken the Gibson V if he had had the money 40 years ago. It was not for nothing that he pretended it was real Gibson as he put the Gibson label on its original OGV ?!
He went for the affordable Japanese Elektra and I didn’t go for a V at all back then 🤪😅 So it is time to build this lets call it „NEW OGV“.
I will use this one with @maintallica_metallica_tribute on live shows -starting early september 2024. 🔥🙌🤘Have fun with the short vid.
