Hello! This channel is for you if you are thinking of making a transition towards a nomadic slow travel lifestyle. You love going on adventures, are not afraid to walk the path less travelled even if it means you're going solo and you love turning creative vision into reality. You could be going through the phase of contemplating if you should make a shift in the direction your life is heading, longing to hear others stories on how they went ahead with the decision-making process and tips to look out for.
I was there 3 years back. After a year of contemplating & research, I went ahead with leaving my home country to live a life of adventure outside my home of 26 years. I aspire to inspire others to live a little more, and dare to live a more unconventional lifestyle by sharing my personal stories and the thoughts going on in my head. Getting this UA-cam channel has been a great way to find fulfilment in the multiple interests I have. I'm glad and thankful you're part of it ♡

When I think of the traditional hearty/savory food here in Southwestern Germany, yeah, there may be few vegan options, but none come to mind, hmm, except for one rn, potato salad with vinegar & oil, but that's a side dish. Vegetarian dishes there certainly are, which makes sense considering that meat was not an everyday option in the past.
I lived in Germany for 19 years and recently everytime I go back to visit it blows my mind how expensive everything is. Each time around 15-20% higher
Interesting perspective! I think I feel the same with returning to my home country Singapore - maybe things are just getting more expensive everywhere. For me I feel like Germany has a good balance of quality for its price at least which really nice :)
Nice vid
@@sylviaschaich thank you! :)
Not an easy decision. Gonna follow you for more updates. I see people are choosing Germany and Netherlands more nowadays. Amazing countries in my view :)
Welcome!! ⋆。°✩ Are you yourself looking to move abroad? Yes - even for me, as I move around to explore different countries and open up to more experiences, there are so many good things in each one of them. It's exciting to see what's in store!
Yeah in the netherlands is the same❤😊
Amazing, I really love the Pfand system and think that its a great initiative to encourage citizens to recycle ☺

Thank you for your supportive words, means alot to me. Moving to Germany - big move, it's going to be exciting! What are some other concerns that you have with the move?
Interesting video, thanks! Does Germany have self-checkout tills at some supermarkets now?
Aw, thank you for your kind comment. Yes, they do! That is a good point that I missed out. I love going to these - less stressful and super easy process as well. I realise that not a lot of people enjoy using these though, so most of the time when I use them, I get to "cut the queue" past many others

When did you get to see the lights? what is your recommendation?
Hey there! Sorry for the lag time in response. Yes, I have seen beautiful lights in yellowknife. Actually, the most amazing ones were from the rooftop of my host's place - you don't have to go far some times, just to have an eager spirit and willingness to head outside with the winter gear when signs of the lights show. I was there from January to April for the winter season and saw my most beautiful ones around end of March. Believe it or not, I was disappointed for the first one month I was there as it took some time before I saw faded glimpses of it. But I didn't give up hope and was rewarded with really unforgettable experiences :)

Hi Elsa, what month you were diving off TARP? I had a not quite nice experience dive in December because the water was not clear. Very low visibility = nothing to see. I was dive behind Manukan & Sapi. Really, i don't remember anything i saw perhaps really nothing. Thats why i plan to do my AOW off Semporna this time because i had a amazing dives over Mataking, Mabul, kapalai & Timba - Timba.
hey Mansiang, I was there in October! The waters were quite okay when the sun is out. Managed to see some nice reefs and fishes. But there was also the second day when it was rainy and we didn't see much animals because we were also aiming to complete the 30m deep dive (hence perhaps that's why I wasn't having super high expectations to see much)
beautiful!!
you!! found me everywhere!! hahahahahah
We are at very different stages of life with very similar views I believe. I applaud you for following your heart and experiencing life on your terms. As you get older you begin to realize just how short life is and that no one is guaranteed a tomorrow and you regret all of those things that you put off for another day. My wife and I had always wanted to ride the Canadian across the country when we retired - she died at 52 yrs. old and we never got that ride. I'm going to board the train to Toronto in Edmonton on Christmas Eve this year and take the journey solo
thank you for sharing your story and thoughts. I wish you a good trip at the end of this year and I am sure the trip will remind you much of your wife. she will be there with you in your heart im sure!

Hey Elsa! Awesome video! Am thinking of taking my AOW later this month. How is the marine life down there at TARP? Would you say it is worth it to travel to KK from SG to dive in TARP or travel further towards Sipadan area for AOW?
Hi there! Thank you for watching my video. :) Personally, I would say if you can afford, to go towards Sipadan. For me, there were some corals and fishes like in the video to see in TARP, but I am sure Sipadan would be much more mesmerizing and with more wildlife to witness. :)
Unless you also have other plans to do other things in KK, like I did with Mount Kinabalu (ua-cam.com/video/2ppnD1yukOc/v-deo.htmlsi=mje2OANc6IpfmFGd), and you don't mind the trade off of a more "average" dive experience, TARP would be an okay choice :)
@@onthemove.studio Awesome! Thanks for your reply! <3
