While your offering advice/resources to figure out how to move forward and fund things. Remember that there is studies etc. (avoided to be talked about) that shows if you get kids into LONG TERM psychiatric treatment to learn coping skills to deal with gender dysphoria etc. in the world they must live...... the self death and harm rates drop significantly... Also resources to dive down deeper the whole gammet of issues a child is having so resources/counselling etc. are applied most appropriately. On Gender Confusion side it is NOT only surgery that is a solution nor is it demanding the world change to ease their troubles the only solution. Just consider and offer funding in all the options. Kid's are our world to be. thank you Beth for caring about kids!!!! Truly mean that. PS- 50yrs of working with kids all ages and abilities. Academic background in Education for those whom have conflicts with educational setting (aka- various dysphoria, autism, abuse, schizophrenia. Looking at this Womans room, why is she targeting innocent children? common sense will tell you, call your child by his or her biological sex, teach them that they are a boy or girl based on that. It is really that simple. They can choose to live as the opposite gender later in life, but they need the base knowledge of what sex is and what it means in order to make the educated choice to go against it. It is clear from the way you talk about language and language use that you have no professional training in the fields of linguistics or even psychology. So what makes you an authority on these issues? That is, why should anyone listen to say?

I've heard once one of these self-appointed mass-educators saying that some people don't have pronouns and should always be referred to by their names. For example: "Mary gave Mary's mother a picture of Mary""=). Then I understood this is all just too idiotic to even listen to. (BTW, if these pronoun-educators want to get some education I recommend reading about government and binding theory).

All these new pronouns that trans people are proposing demonstrate a lack of understanding of how grammar and pronouns work. Firstly, let's establish that first and second person pronouns are genderless. They're also the pronouns that are fundamentally used in two party communication, and the pronouns that the speaker and the listener own. Also, I fully yield that a person owns his own name. If Mark wants to change his name to Marcia, that's his choice. He owns his name and his personhood. Third person pronouns are the battleground here. And when a person is the target of the third person pronoun, he has no say over the choice of pronoun. Take a 3-party conversation between people named A, B, and C. A says to B: "Give the bag to her." A is telling B to give the bag to the new party, C. A doesn't need to know the soulful navelgazing about identity that C is partaking in. B doesn't need to know about C's hormone therapy. What happened here is A make a quick approximation of what pronoun best describes C for B's understanding. If Marcia looks like a guy, he's getting a masculine pronoun. A owns his language. C has no claim on how best to describe C to B. The battle is over the notion that someone controls how others describe him. And no one does.

what doesn't take a lot of practice, takes no time to adjust, and has been working fine in the English language for many many years is to just use the standard language that everyone learned. If it takes one to do mental gymnastics and mind acrobatics to simply refer to someone else in 3rd person, that means there's something wrong with that approach. The only language that belongs to a person is their own personal name. Everything else - nouns, adjectives, pronouns, verbs, adverbs etc. do not belong to a particular person but are rather a shared common language that must be easily understood by everyone else in order to communicate effectively and not create unnecessary confusion. If you bow and comply to one person's desires and wants at the expense of everyone else - that's wrong, misguided, and unethical IMO.

Becoming one's whole and authentic self should never require drastic changes, surgery, nor medical sterility. If it does, then there is a deeper problem that needs to be addressed. My heart breaks for all the young people whose lives are being destroyed by this. They will grow up and then expect many lawsuits. Tragic.

We say kids cant understand the consequences of smoking, sex, tattoos...give them curfews, drinking etc etc etc...but one day they say they feel like a boy or girl and we allow them to mutilate themselves...you cant make that make sense. I think the whole push to make transgender "kids" acceptable is to one day allow pedophilia. Today its transgender kids, tomorrow they can consent to sex. Its a sick ideology. Many of them regret it when they get older, leave the lifelong decisions to adulthood.

This is getting to the point where there needs to be a decision made on this... having gender specialists go around diagnosing children with gender dysphoria is one of the most laughable things ive ever heard, I would love to know the rate at which they turn children down compared to how many children they "affirm". Every time you hear a child that grows up and comes out and said they de-transitioned its almost the same identical story. "I wish someone would have challenged me more, I wish that someone would have pushed back a little harder... Instead the just affirmed my belief and sent me down a path that ended up destroying my life permanently". Now if you as a parent dont affirm your childs beliefs because they saw some gender theory online or their teacher introduced it to them you are seen as "abusive". These people are doing so much damage to society and not a single one of them cares because it seems intentional at this point.

Help these precious children love themselves as they were born ❤ if children didn’t know what transgender was they would not be feeling this way.. maybe 0.0005% of people would .. but not 15% of kids in middle school saying they don’t know their gender. The problem is also that young children are impressionable and easily manipulated. Girls being lesbians was a phase when I was in high school and now most of them are in heterosexual relationships. One of my son’s very good friends was a lesbian all through high school and just recently came out and decided she liked boys. It’s a very slippery slope, which is why I disagree that any medical procedures should be done until adulthood.

What?!?! I have a transgender child and this is THE WORST advice. Your child who comes out as transgender MUST be able to articulate enough to explain. If they don’t or can’t, common sense tells me that they are CONFUSED. If you can’t parent your child by challenging them, you’re raising weak children.
