Pastor Ron McKey delivered a sermon about God's gifts during the Christmas season. He began by emphasizing that this is an excellent time to invite people to church since the world is focused on Jesus. The sermon centered on four main gifts that God has given believers.
The first gift Pastor Ron McKey discussed was the gift of life. Using the movie "It's a Wonderful Life" as an example, he emphasized how each person's life impacts others in ways they may not realize. He addressed those who might be struggling during the holiday season, stressing that everyone's life has value and purpose. He encouraged the congregation not to compare their lives to others, noting that everyone has their own unique journey ordained by God.
The second gift Pastor Ron McKey highlighted was the gift of choice. He explained that God gives us the power to choose our path, including whether to choose life or death, blessing or cursing, joy or sorrow. He emphasized that God doesn't force anyone to serve Him because He wants genuine worship that comes from free will. This freedom to choose makes our relationship with God more intimate and meaningful.
The third gift, which Pastor Ron McKey spent considerable time discussing, was the gift of forgiveness. He explained that Christmas is fundamentally about forgiveness, as Jesus came to Earth not to create a holiday but to restore humanity's relationship with God through forgiveness of sins. He outlined two parts of forgiveness: our part (choosing to forgive) and God's part (healing our hurt). He stressed that forgiveness is a decision, not an emotion, and encouraged people not to wait until they feel like forgiving.
The final gift Pastor Ron McKey discussed was the gift of salvation. He used the analogy of Christmas gift etiquette to explain how we should approach salvation: receive it (don't reject it out of feeling unworthy), unwrap it (explore and understand what it means), and enjoy it (recognize that Jesus came to make life better, not bitter).
Throughout the sermon, Pastor Ron McKey maintained a balance between serious theological concepts and relatable everyday examples, including some humorous moments about Christmas trees and marriage. He concluded with an altar call, during which several people indicated their desire to accept Christ or rededicate their lives to Him. The sermon ended with a corporate prayer of salvation and an encouragement for those who have forgiven others to allow the Holy Spirit to heal their remaining hurts.
The message emphasized the practical application of these spiritual gifts in daily life, encouraging listeners to live fully, choose wisely, forgive freely, and embrace salvation completely. Pastor Ron McKey's central theme was that God's gifts are meant to be actively received and used, not just acknowledged.

From my study it will be all over in 2027.God bless
Although I agree that it’s imminent, the Word says : ““Concerning that day and exact hour, no one knows when it will arrive, not even the angels of heaven -only the Father knows.” Matthew 24:36
@robert89Ak I don't know the day or the hour. God bless
God is still stronger then the algorithm. This just popped up when I needed the reminder.
Pastor Rick, you are a great pastor! Thank you for your time and dedication to the word . Thank you for leading by example. YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE! Those that are saved are servants.
Thank you for the word, Pastor Rick!
The Q&A was a blessing! Thank you for answering the tough questions with Bible verses and experiences.
Thank you for the prayers Cornerstone.
Good message. Great message! It makes me wonder about Robert Morris. What must be feeling? Things he did as an immature young person which probably haunted his thoughts for forty years, have come to destroy him in his old age. Is he forgiven? Can be be forgiven? By God yes. But society won't, the law won't, the woman maybe hasn't, and probably most of the church won't. Jesus forgave the woman caught in adultery and released her without condemnation, but said woe to anyone that harms one of these little ones. So what do we do? I think maybe we judge people like we want to be judged. I imagine he IS depressed. Let's pray for all those involved that God's resolution will prevail. God bless us all.
Listening from Cañón City Colorado but always home with cornerstone church.

Nice to hear a correct biblical teaching. God bless.
Thanks for listening
SOME MAJOR SCRIPTURAL PROBLEMS WITH THE PRE-TRIB RAPTURE; Over and over the Bible has the end-time Godly believers being delivered on the SAME day that the wicked are punished; not the case in a pre-trib rapture scenario. Jesus, Himself, gave two examples to look to in the end times: Noah and Lot. Noah and his family were delivered on the same day the wicked perished in the flood. “In the 600th year of Noah’s life, on the 17th day of the 2nd month the floodgates of the deep opened and the heavens poured down rain. On that very day, Noah and his family entered the Ark.” Lot and his family were delivered on the same day the wicked are punished. 2nd Thessalonians chapter 1 says, “God is just, He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you, and give relief to you who are troubled when the Lord Jesus is revealed from Heaven in flaming fire with His powerful angels bringing punishment to those who don’t know God and refuse to obey the gospel of Jesus Christ.” 2nd Thessalonians chapter 1 says, “Concerning the coming of the lord and our being gathered to Him (the rapture)…don’t let anyone deceive you. That Day of the Lord won’t come until two things happen first; the great apostasy and the man of sin is revealed.” (by the abomination of desolation) Joel 2:31 says, “The sun will be darkened, and the moon turned to blood BEFORE the coming of the great and dreadful Day of the Lord.” And Jesus in the Olivet discourse talks about the rise of the anti-christ and the persecution of the saints and then says, “Immediately AFTER the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon turned to blood.” Revelation 3:10 says, “I will keep you from the time of testing coming upon the whole earth.” Sounds like pre-trib, BUT the word translated keep above is the Greek word tereo and it means “to guard by keeping the eye upon.” It does NOT mean to protect by taking us out before the tribulation starts. I believe the Pre-Wrath Rapture best fits scripture.
Pastor Ron, I am so moved by your leadership. Thank you
Promo`SM 😳
Amen! I receive this word. My valley has been long and dark, but I know that God didn’t bring me this far to leave me.
That’s what I’m talking about 👣 and keep your eyes 👀 on Jesus!
Amen pastor Ron
Matthew 24 says immediately after the tribulation he sends his angels to gather.
Read all of Matthew 24. Verse 27-31 is all about the second coming. Jesus coming to gather Israel. They don’t meet in the air and the angles gather him. Then verse 36-51 is talking about the rapture. If u see in verse 27-31 it’s talking about revelation 1:7. Would love to hear back from ya!!
@zachforchrist2887 I quit going back and forth with anyone about this because it's borderline arguing amongst the body of Christ. I just read Matthew 24 again. I still only see Jesus coming back once. I've read it many times already. Everything He says in Matthew is to everyone. Anywhere I personally read in Gods Word, I only see one time Jesus comes back. He never mentions that the first time He comes back will be such and such. Then I will come back again. I never read that anywhere. In I Thesalonians 4 and 5, we read again about this. He says we are not in the dark. That means it's no secret.
@@calscottoh It states that those taken in the Rapture and the dead who have also risen, spend 7 years with him in heaven at a grand feast for 'the Bride of Christ'. These return with him bodily for his millennial reign. The verses might be at different locations, but they are there. Yes, you will come back again; it certainly was not a secret to them. Peace.
Thank you sir
I agree with everything except the seven-year period between the rapture and Jesus' feet touching the Mount of Olives. Jesus raptures his church, then we remain with him in the air and we are with him for the rest of eternity. While we are with him as He pours his wrath out on the earth until He sets he feet on the Mount of Olive and sets up his millennial reign. Just as in the days of Noah, there wasn't a seven year period between Noah being closed up in the ark and God pouring out His judgement.
Jesus returns with His saints. Revelation 19:11-21 and Jude 1:14, 25a. He sets His feet on the Mount of Olives: Zechariah 14:4-11. Plus more for both
When Israel signs the peace accord with the anti Christ , that’s what starts the tribulation. And at the 31/2 years is when the abomination of desolation takes place and the end comes 31/2 years later when Christ returns to earth to set up his 1000 year reign. The rapture can occur anytime before the start of the tribulation
There isn’t great tribulation until after the abomination of desolation. Matthew 24:15-21 You’ve believed a lie without even looking it up for yourself.
@@clintmurphy72 you sir need to read the book of Revelation. Seven years of tribulation the first 31/2 are the opening of the seals, the last 31/2 are the Great Tribulation, trust me when I tell I have studied this for over 60 years and I don’t believe a lie. All seven years are part of Gods Wrath on a world that rejected His Son, believers won’t go thru tribulation, that would be like Jesus saying Bride I’m going to take you to a great feast at my Fathers house , but first I’m going to abuse you , wouldn’t that make Jesus a wife beater, I don’t think so. The entire tribulation is Gods Wrath , and we are not appointed unto wrath. Reread Matt 24 Jesus said as it was in the days of Noah , so shall it be in the coming of the Son of Man What were they doing before the flood , Jesus said eating drinking feasting and giving in marriage. Jesus said their will be two working in the fields one is taken one is left, two at mill one is taken one is left , so tell me how life as usual is going to take place , the earth will have all types of physical catastrophes when the seals are opened, anything but life as usual. It’s pre tribulation rapture according to the words of Jesus.
@@heknows5418 you said in the comment I replied to that the tribulation starts at the beginning and now you’re saying it starts in the middle. Which words of Jesus says that the rapture happens before the seventieth week of Daniel? Matthew 24 makes it very clear that the rapture doesn’t happen until after the abomination of desolation. And don’t give me the secret rapture crap. That isn’t found in the holy scriptures.
Beatiful and strong cover!
That’s a joke.I didn’t hear anything about Jesus, but Santa clause was brought up and proclaimed at the end.wow
This was was a very small clip from an hour long show. The show talks about how a family finds strength in Jesus at Christmas time.
What is the name of this music playing? Love this skit!
Great explanation. Happiness is fleeting. Joy is lasting.
Great video! Enoch was Raptured/translated off the earth in Genesis 5:24 *before* the global flood judgement. Noah & his family were protected through the judgement. Enoch represents the Church and Noah & his family represents the Jewish remnant that will survive at the end of the Tribulation & gain salvation. Historically, God always protected or removed the righteous *before* He judged. He removed Enoch. He removed Lot and his family from Sodom & Gomorrah before he destroyed the ungodly in that city. Jesus tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:9 that WE are not appointed to the time of Gods wrath. He will rescue us FROM it- 1 Thessalonians 1:10. He will keep us OUT of the coming trial in Revelation 3:10. So be encouraged & tell your unsaved friends to repent & get saved! The ark door is about to close. ✝️
I was there good service

Fantastic! Awesome worship song - I’m feeling the soul in it.
Hello The rapture is the catching up to meet Jesus as he descends earth at the second coming When a royal visitor or important figure would come you would go out to meet them and escort them into the city Jesus is coming to the earth Believers will go up to meet him and descend to the earth with him - The gospel is the gospel of the kingdom! Jesus is going to return and set up the kingdom of God ON THE EARTH! God’s government ON THE EARTH! Believers will rule the nations with Jesus! The Messiah died for his people! God resurrected the Messiah! The Messiah will resurrect his people at his coming! They will rule the nations! The destiny of the Messiah and his people is to be ON THE EARTH! The renewed restored earth! God also dwelling with them! Rev 21 Matt 24 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Jesus said the Father is the only true God! John 17 3 And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.

Hi
Rapture for Christians and Wormhole for NASA and Elonites..Thy Kingdom Come, or will arrive..Rapture is a mistake,..Why do you want to colonize Heaven or go to Heaven...when the Kingdom will come or arrive?
What is this skit called ??
Sandra, this was part of an original Christmas production called "Hope has come"
I have just watched this. I am going through a really hard time in my life right now. I am putting all my faith in god. I WILL SPEAK OUT TO HELP PEOPLE HEAR MY STORY OF HOW HE HAS CHANGED ME. I WILL NO LONGER JUDGE MYSELF OR BE ASHAMED OF WHO I AM BECOMING. Thank you for being you! See you sunday.
Loved it ..... Should have prophesied on that guitar before modulating to the higher key. Some sweet slow hand guitar lead would have taken song to another level.
