NEVER HAVE SEX WITH CLIENTS (every person who works with clients knows this is true). you go to therapy and you work through the shit like everyone else in therapy. Sex with clients is a violation of everything a counselor stands for. It is not natural instinct to have someone be vulnerable with their most horrible experiences with you (the counselor) when the counselor is never vulnerable with them (The patient), and then the counselor uses their power to take advantage of someone. The patient is not in a position to consent to sexual contact with their counselor's advances, EVER, point blank period. It isn't natural instinct to rape someone, becuase that is what Paul is doing here, he is sexually assaulting her (if you don't believe me, look at all states and how they treat a counselor that has any sexual contact with a client... they all charge it as rape/sexual misconduct/sexual assualt... a felony, a loss of licensure, a guaranteed prison sentence). A counselor who actually cared and respected their client would work through this with the client, talking to them, helping them understand that it is not really the counselor that they are attracted to, rather its what the counselor gives or what the counselor represents to the client that makes them attractive.
