This is a really brief yet comprehensive review, keep up the great work! Unfortunately, these switches do not feel mushy or wet due to overlubing but is more of a design defect with the stem. If you hit the top part of the keycap, the sound and feel will be muted, mushy and downright feels weird. However, if you hit the bottom part of the keycap, the switch sounds normal and feels like it bottoms out properly. As this is your first time trying rail-bottom out switches, I'd highly recommend you to try MX2A blacks, Filmed and Spring Swapped.

Back when keyboards just started reaching apex popularity I actually had one of my keyboards put together and I used a reinforced cork plate just to try it, it was a really sick material and it makes a lot of sense as long as it's properly treated so it doesn't rot over time. Very cool build!

What do you think is the difference of this and RAINY75 in terms of sound profile and specs?

I got mine and noticed the tips of the metal contacts on switches were blackened. Did yours come out fine? I'm scared to replace switches because their contacts might darken too. Not sure what's caused them to go black when I just got them brand new.

It's incredible how many channels review keyboards but don't know typing, it's like a thorn in the foot. Edit: I have the same keyboard and its great.

ok so i managed to get my hands on this exact color because i found it for $48 shipped and was not expecting anything special. boy am i surprised those "matcha buttermilk" switches are too smooth, i was comparing it to my xinhais and v2us and was thinking woah this is some HMX level smoothness and viola, i took a keycap off and found out that they are HMX Gravels lol no wonder it sounds clacky! the finish of the kb is meh, it's too rough for my liking but ill take it. best $48 spent on this hobby

Because of this video, I finally checked out the Inky75 and I picked the black variant.

If I will change only tape mod application in my keyboard it should be bigger differnce? Or it's not worth my time? In that kind of job better to change also switches?
