Creamy Mushroom Pasta | No Heavy Cream
Переглядів 347Рік тому
This cashew cream mushroom pasta is such a gem, a wonderful dish to add to your arsenal! If you love creamy pasta and you love mushrooms, you have to try this recipe. Traditionally this type of dish is made with lots of cream that can sometimes feel too rich and leave us feeling really heavy. This pasta is still very creamy and indulgent but it won’t be too much for your stomach to handle. For ...
BEST Hummus Recipe From Scratch | Smooth, Velvety, Ultra-creamy
Переглядів 811Рік тому
This is by far the best way to make hummus! We usually make a big batch and eat throughout the week. Cooking your own chickpeas really takes it to the next level, making the hummus ultra-creamy, smooth, and pillowy soft. You can easily just use canned chickpeas for this recipe, but when you make it from scratch, it’s so much more creamy and flavorful. If you’ve never made hummus this way before...
Zucchini Fritters with Yogurt Dill Sauce

Zucchini fritters are super versatile, they can be a delicious snack, an appetizer, or a side dish. These zucchini fritters are packed with flavor, high in protein and fiber. Zucchini fritters are easy to make just like pancakes but there is an additional step that makes the cooking process a bit longer and that is - squeezing water out of them. Zucchinis are mostly water, so I highly recommend...

THE BEST VEGGIE BURGER 🍔 + Smoky Chipotle Sauce | Healthy, Hearty, Flavorful

    • @HolisticLongevity

      You don't have to do it, straining it is totally optional. That said, straining it takes away some of the natural clumps that can form, it creates a pillowy soft and frothy consistency. Most Japanese matcha producers i know of also recommend it. i think making it taste as great as possible is important for people who are struggling with coffee addiction and who are new to matcha.

    What are you doing with the milk? Are you heating it to a specific temperature as you do with regular milk yogurt? And then cooling it to a specific temperature for adding the starter and fermenting it? (I do regular milk at about 190°, then down to 110-115°. Does coconut milk work the same way?) Can I use the previous batch's yogurt as starter for the next, or does it have to be a purchased starter? Thanks.

    Hi! I just left a review on your other video with the 3 vegan creamers, and I just happened to come across this one. I have tried hazelnut milk and it's so good - I will definitely try this recipe. A couple of questions - have you ever tried using coconut water instead of the plain water to make the creamer? I saw another gal say that her secret ingredient to making nut milk is adding the coconut water, instead of the plain water...I'm wondering if this would work for a creamer or if it woudn't taste good since you are drinking it with coffee. Next question - any idea if macadamia nut creamer would taste good? And, last question - do you have any recommendations for where you can purchase nuts in bulk at a good price? Thank you!!

    • @HolisticLongevity
      @HolisticLongevity 5 місяців тому

      Hi again, i saw few more comments from you that i missed :( first of all - the creamer! I would not recommend using coconut water as a base, the reason why is because it has quite a bit of flavor and it also has naturally occurring sodium, which makes it slightly salty. I don't want the creamer to be salty so its a no for me. I think macadamia nuts would be fabulous for creamer, they are naturally fatty and would make a great thick creamer. Lastly, i recommend buying nuts at costco! They have very fresh and plenty of organic choices, their circulation is super high so i highly recommend them when you are looking for quality and freshness. I hope this helps, sorry it was so late :(

    Hello I just found your channel a few hours ago, I subscribed, and immediately decided to try one of the creamer recipes. I am not vegan or vegetarian but I love food and want to incorporate more clean plant-based food in my diet. I will be starting a biblical Daniel fast for 21-30 days, and the fast consists of a vegan diet with no added or proceesed sugar, so I have been preparing by researching healthy and yummy recipes I can make. I have spent a lot of hours just searching for a vegan creamer, and although some of the other recipes sound good, your recipes are by far the cleanest recipes I have found, since I am not alound to add sugar to my food, these creamers will work. I have a major sweet tooth and was super skeptical that your creamer would be any good, and boy I was actually surprised. I decided to follow your recommendation, and do half cashew and half coconut, and I was so surprised that it was actually good, and my husband agrees. I think next time, I may try more cashews and little less coconut to see if I like that better, so the coconut flavor isn't as strong. I look forward to trying some of your other recipes. If you have any favorites that you think a non-vegan person like myself will love, please do share. Best wishes.

      Hi there! No i didn't boil coconut milk as it will destroy some if the nutrients. The reason we boil dairy milk is to kill any potential bacteria, like salmonella etc. with coconuts we don't need to do it, water bath is good for that 😊👍🏻
